You could see video compression artifacts on 90s CRTs, especially for low-quality video. The artifacts here would be very visible for anyone, unfortunately.

I don't know what Bluesky will do to these images but here's how it looks for me. Without any shaders, character models tend to stand out badly against prerendered backgrounds. This setup blends them in too well without softening or dimming the image too much (though it still does a little)
