In opposition, Labour rightly said that giving NHS contract to private healthcare weakens the NHS, provided a worse service and costs the tax payer more. Then private healthcare donated a ton of money to Labour. Now labour have given a huge increase in NHS contracts to private healthcare.

We know it is taking more than six months for asylum applications to be processed in many cases. We know that appeals rates are increasing because of the issues with incorrect decisions. After only five months in office there is no excuse for Labour celebrating increasing deportations.

To be clear, most asylum seekers go to other European countries. But most of those who come to the uk do so because of familiarity with our language, or culture, or because they know people here. Opting out of our share is not an available option.
