I finally got one of them to admit it. They are perfectly willing to let all civil rights burn rather than even just vote to keep things from getting worse. Either they've given up, or they are agents provocateurs trying to talk others into giving up to benefit the GOP. This is their endgame.

@lumidingo.bsky.social

And people like yourself then spend innumerable hours twisting yourselves in knots trying to sell the victims of all this hate that they'd be better off overall if they just accept their fate willingly.

No. Fuck you. We all burn. Wrong choice.

The only problem with MapQuest is that they are DAMN SLOW to update things when they should. They still call the road over the Washington Ave bridge in Minneapolis "MN-122", which it hasn't been since **1998**!

MapQuest screen shop from 2026 labeling SE Washington Ave in Minneapolis as "state highway 122".

Name a character you love whose casting aged horribly... At the time of (self-)casting, few knew of the RL sex pest hiding behind the Starfleet uniform in this otherwise-great fan series. Vic Mignogna as James T. Kirk in "Star Trek Continues" At least now he can't monetize the project anymore.

WTF is "generative" about a donation TTS tool? They've been around as long as game streaming's been popular (2010). Just find one that doesn't break a vocal copyright and you'll be fine. 😁

Skeet from quyetpawz:

"Twitch streamers...

I'm wondering about donation based TTS tools that don't use Gen AI/theft...

What tools are you using?

I'm just trying to quickly set things up for my birthday stream on the 22nd and I'm struggling finding a tool for this."

My newest toon in #MLBTheShow26 is truly off the hook! 😁🐙 Sacramento A’s starter Marina Ida blasted her way to The Show after only 3 months into her rookie contract and has already pitched 2 perfect games for the ailing team! #MLBTheShow #Splatoon

Splatoon’s Marina Ida recreated in MLB The Show 26 as a pitcher with the Sacramento A’s, her hair and glove are sea green in color, and she is wearing a yellow “Road” uniform with green accents, with the city legend “Sacramento” written in stylized cursive font on the front of the jersey.

For me, it would have to be the entire turn-based JRPG genre... with very few exceptions (like Miitopia).

What is your "I did not care for 'The Godfather'" of games?

Just for shits and giggles, I was curious to see what YouTube's thumbnail generator woudl suggest for my 8/5/26 stream. Here's what it came up with, and all 3 failed simply due to the date on the thumbnail alone! 🤣 YT's comments in Alt text.

Concept 1: Raid Action Template
DJ Particle is centered in an action pose against a dynamic Splatoon Raiders backdrop, complete with template branding.

This layout prioritizes your established channel template, ensuring series consistency while showcasing the specific raid setting.

Why it works

This concept leverages your existing visual identity. By placing your character model front-and-center and using the familiar template for the episode number and date, you create instant recognition for your regular viewers while the vibrant, action-packed background captures the "Super-Spicy" energy of the video.

Concept 2: High-Intensity Boss Fight
A close-up of DJ Particle's determined face with "SUPER-SPICY!" text and intense battle effects.

This concept emphasizes the difficulty and excitement of the high-level buffet floors through character expression and bold text.

Why it works

The tight focus on the character's expression creates an emotional hook, signaling to viewers that this is a high-stakes or particularly challenging episode. The fiery "SUPER-SPICY!" text directly reinforces the title's theme, making the "Bottomless Buffet" challenge the clear focal point of the thumbnail.

Concept 3: Buffet Victory
DJ Particle stands triumphantly in front of a treasure chest, celebrating the progress made in the buffet raid.

This concept highlights the progression and rewards of the raid, set in the game's iconic harbor environment.

Why it works

Focusing on the "Treasure" and "Victory" aspect of the raid appeals to the viewer's curiosity about what rewards were earned. It provides a more positive, celebratory vibe compared to the action-heavy concepts, which can be a great way to differentiate this milestone episode in your series.

In other words: "OK teams, you made it clear that selling out to private equity would wreck the entire reason why we were selling out to private equity in the first place, so we are no longer selling out to private equity."

Tweet from @fifamedia:

Statement attributable to the FIFA President

The FIFA Forward Enterprise project was intended to provide a basis for further strengthening our FIFA Member Associations and our sport worldwide, especially in those countries where support is most needed. And more so, as we said from the outset, to do this only if a majority of the FIFA Member Associations were in support and always subject to a consultation process with them, the FIFA Council, the Confederations and wider stakeholders.

Having listened carefully to all the views, it has become clear that the project has created divisions of a nature that, regardless of the level of support, are no longer in the interest of the objective set out in the first place.

Our purpose has always been - and will always be - to unite and improve.

As a result, this proposal will not proceed.

Moving forward, my intent is to bring all interested parties back together in the coming days and weeks in the spirit of shared interest in our game, and with the objective to continue growing football everywhere, particularly in those countries that mostly need our support.
