Alt: The image features a grayscale photograph of a long, empty hallway with a person walking away in the distance. The individual is highlighted in yellow, contrasting with the monochrome surroundings, emphasizing isolation. The hallway has brick walls with white railings on both sides. Above the photo, a black panel with torn edges. At the top of the image, text reads: "NEW REPORT: ONTARIO OMBUDSMAN REPORTS ON THE USE OF PSYCHIATRIC INSTITUTIONALIZATION FOR PEOPLE LABELLED WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITIES. Below the image, text reads: This Report supports what disabled people and their families have said for decades: Disabled People are over-medicated, under-supported, and suffering behind the locked walls of psychiatric institutions for months and years at a time. Current efforts to expand adult institutionalization through large-scale group homes will not address these concerns and recent legislation, like Bill 17, will only intensify institutionalization and violence against us.

We can't forget this Bill, even though it is law now, nor those legislators who voted it into law. We didn't carry the day today, but we can't stop keeping the pressure up to build a better Ontario for every single disabled and non-disabled Ontarian.
2. The image depicts a legislative chamber with members seated on either side. At the center, an individual is standing at a podium in the background, while several members stand nearby. The room is ornate, with wood paneling and green carpets. There are two rows of desks with papers and electronic devices. At the bottom, a digital display shows voting results with "Ayes" at 74 and "Nays" at 40. Below this scene, bold text on a white background reads, "WHO MADE BILL 33 THE LAW?" with "THE LAW" highlighted in bright pink.

The Bill: - forces Universities/Colleges to follow ideologically-driven regulations on applications. - forces regulations on Universities/Colleges that will undermine student and campus organizing/fees. - does little meaningful to amend the Provincial Child Apprehension System.
1. The image is a graphic with a black background featuring bold text about Bill 33 passing in Ontario. At the top, in large white and pink capital letters, it reads "BILL 33 HAS PASSED." Below, in smaller white text, is an explanation detailing the perceived impacts of the bill. It lists several points: an increase in Ministerial power over school boards, the enforcement of political directives for schools, regulations on universities, and a lack of meaningful amendments to the Provincial Child Apprehension System. Each point begins with a bullet.

BILL 33 HAS PASSED. It will: - ⏫ Ministerial power over school boards, allowing for a Minister to override local democracy and decision-making. - ⏫ Ministerial power to force schools and school boards to abide by political directives, like forcing police back into schools.

We know that the Ontario Government is prepared to attack the safety of countless communities: Bill 33—which will resume a push for police in schools, undermines school boards. As well, it will attack college and university organizing funding.

At the top, a purple section with white text reads "This Week, Ontario will begin passing:" with yellow triangular warning icons on either side. The left section, with an orange background, contains black text about Bill 25. The central section has a dark blue background with multicolored text about Bill 60. The right section, with a black background, features white text about Bill 33.

Changes coming in Bill 60 actively changes the balance of power at the Landlord and Tenant Board—unleashing the Dark Side: faster evictions, less access to justice, and more power to landlords. Read our letter: tinyurl.com/StopBill60

How much worse will housing accessibility, accomodations, and security for disabled tenants be when landlords are further advantaged with faster eviction mechanisms and more opportunity for retaliation against us?
Alt 3: The top left corner displays the bold text "We Need Cities To Back Tenants," colored in yellow and orange-red gradient, suggesting urgency. Below that, the phrase "ON BILL 60" is written in white capital letters. The main body of the text is in white quoting the second letter: This anti-democratic bill biases the process of landlord and tenant relations in one direction: towards landlords with the money, legal representation, and time to maximize their profits and usage of the Landlord and Tenant Board. In the meantime, members of the community will continue to face ever-increasing access to justice barriers. Even under the current LTB regime, Disabled tenants can barely get the representation and support they need to bring forward applications to uphold their rights to accommodation in housing protected under the Human Rights Code. And in yellow: How much worse will things be when landlords are further advantaged with faster eviction mechanisms and retaliations?
