TRAINSPOTTING — Released in the UK on this date 30 years ago! I remember the fanatical excitement at the time. I was working at HMV at the height of Brit Pop and a fan of Irvine Welsh’s books. I had an original movie poster at the time but with moves and time it got damaged! This poster was a gift 🧡

Seven years ago today — my first trip to Detroit. What a special place. The architecture, music, and people. Visiting the Motown Museum was magic. Just knowing all the artists that walking through those doors. So much beautifully rich history ❤️ #motownmuseum #motown #marvingaye #thesupremes

Eight years ago getting With It! Love when these memories pop up. This was a fun night. The usual suspects looking sharp and having a grand old time. It’s been lovely to receive messages from friends about the change. I’m incredibly grateful and happy that people appreciated what was built. ❤️

And now the hard work begins. 🇨🇦 What an intense race for leadership. It was a matter of choosing how we get to a better place. I look forward to witnessing what PM Carney and his government will do to unite Canadians and build a stronger nation, so we all prosper. Vive le Canada ❤️

My purchase from Ace Records is finally complete! The Tshirt arrived today. ❤️🇬🇧 The first time I heard about 6Ts Rhythm and Soul Society was purchasing a CD comp called In The Beginning from nearly 20 years ago. 💿😃 Sadly I lent it to an ex who never returned it. Lesson learned. 😊🎵
