The one I was very intrigued by and always wanted to play was Paranoia. I also really wanted to play Call of Cthulu, but that was another one where I couldn't drum up enough interest. Some of my friends branched off into AD & D eventually but I never got into it

We were mostly Palladium folks, but we also played the Star Wars D6 game (despite my antipathy for SW). We also played TOON a tiny bit. My buddy collected GURPS but we never played it very seriously. There were a lot of Star Trek dorks in my crowd but no one really got into Starfleet Battles with me

Yes, thank goodness. And, one of their top guys even cut a little "shoot" promo about it (which probably wasn't an ACTUAL indictment for bringing in the guy, I'm sure they all like him and he's nice and etc.) but it felt cathartic, regardless :D

Good, we can go back to watching Mystery main events again (we had been 'boycotting,' as it were, since Johnny Whatever took the belt). Felt very counter to the promotion
