I’m with you. There’s so much software that performs dramatically worse. Faros researched this phenomenon and the data is on our side.

It talks about incidents, which is a potential outage, security event, or customer-facing failure, and bugs, a defect that causes software to fail or produce incorrect results. There’s been a +242.7% increase in incidents on pull requests. A +57.9% increase in monthly incidents. They observed a +54% increase in bugs per developer vs. the 9% increase they saw in 2025. Per pull request, they found a +28.7% increase in bugs.

I find this laughable because the United States has not been a Christian nation. The first amendment directly contradicts this thinking.

A friend recommended this, and it was a difficult read. The Cold War wasn’t the U.S. and U.S.S.R. fighting proxy wars. The Cold War was the subjugation of the world to American ideals. #Booksky
