Had to get some lozenges and test kits today at the pharmacy. I seem to have made a new Pokémon friend. So, everyone say hi to Dolphi, named for an old mascot I met in France at a specific hotel chain. I think I got him from a flight to France, or from my dad. But yeah, I caught a pokemon!

Dolphin pokemon from Scarlet/violet pokemon games. Paladin is this specific pokemon

How this morning is going. Ratatouille and coffee. Most expensive thing here? The coffee, second most expensive thing is the half n half. I will pay that extra amount for that coffee, it's really good imo.

Got myself a new small cactus from the dying or clearance section of Lowes. So here's hoping this guy makes it and takes root. The soil is a bit rich as my cactus soil seems to have gone missing. But I've seen cacti be pretty resilient.

I crocheted a little baby phoenix for my partner Really happy with how the crest came out. I made it the wrong way, but it looks way better this way.

The crest is the wrong way, so it looks like a rooster, which I think looks more natural

The tail feathers look pretty good in my opinion too

So excited to get back to photography on occasion. For those that want to see what I used to do in photography in college here's a sample from two different cameras. I used to go local to my college and take wildlife photos on an entry level DSLR. I loved it very much.

Stopped by my local library to see if they had any books with possible sewing patterns in them. I found some books with ideas. I also found @brucecoville.bsky.social books for sale at the entrance! Though it only had 3 of the 4 books? Still, always good to find fav authors of mine locally.

Been crocheting a lot and trying to make nudibranchs and flatworms I respect plus other sea creatures. I plan to make more fireworms, which are bristle worms. You can't touch them, but these you can pick up safely (unless you're allergic to acrylic)!

The biggest and longest Spanish dancer inspired crochet sea slug/nudibranchs. One of my favs to paint and now crochet.

I've been having a lot of fun with these, this is another angle of this crochet piece.

This is based off a Fireworm, which is not a nudibranch, but rather a type of bristleworm. It's got a super painful sting, but pretty cool to see!

This is my interpretation of a Spanish dancer, a type of nudibranch.

I checked the label, that's the same model I have! I resisted the urge to take it off the wall at the café, and play it. I have a mini travel guitar for that.

A yamaha FG830 that I have a similar of yours model, but different color. It has a beautiful rich sound.

My beloved mini guitar that I named, Melodie. I found it on FB marketplace in 2021 for a measly $50. It's a perfect practice guitar, and great to take to conventions. It came with stickers, which I don't like putting on guitars, so I added a few on this one. I get it serviced regularly, and occasionally ask for the wood oil treatment.

@brucecoville.bsky.social What a journey book 2 was! Ready for the third book now. My childhood self is so excited to see what happens next. I did not see that kind of redemption coming, or predict that ending to book 2. Having a kobo is very useful when I move around a lot, btw.
