Watching Space Jam with my son is so funny because when Bugs Bunny says “I’m fine are you ok?” My son then shouts “バッグスは大丈夫です！(Bugs is OK!)” It’s so cute and so funny! When Lola kisses Bugs, he goes チュー (chuu)！to imitate the kiss. I’m so glad I showed him Looney Tunes!

This is insane for me! GAP just has Space Jam shirts and Sonic shirts right next to each other!? Too bad they were over 5,000 yen a piece…

I had a great time doing the Godzilla Caravan Stamp Rally with my son today. It ended with a Godzilla Minus Zero mini exhibit! It was super cool and has gotten me even more hyped for the movie! We got a Showa Goji sticker and a GMK mini figure. (Minus Goji scared my son a bit. Whoops.)

Whoa... uh... that is a lot to unpack. You good? All I'll just say is that we've had extremely packed years for 2022-2025 and I am so fine with 2026 being a slightly slower year. When you look at other gaming icons too, Sonic has it so good. I'm sorry it didn't land for you.

Genuinely just asking, but why don't you like any of it? What would you have liked?

On my recent playthrough of Shadow Generations, I was very impressed and moved with the cutscenes. The animation and models look so stellar and they really enhance the emotions of the scene. Moreover, the shot of Shadow seeing the shadow of him and Maria is masterfully realized.

Sonic in 2026 had -Chaotix Detective Case Files -CrossWorlds support -Pico Park -Sonic Live -Club Chaos -Fortnite collab -Round1 collab -various IDW comics -Memories and Beyond animated short -new merch -game collections -Frontiers Deluxe Edition Totally not a bad year, even if not as jam packed!

I genuinely think How Do We Relationship might be my favorite show of 2026! It’s so well done and I love that I leaves me thinking about it even when the episodes are over!

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

What on earth were they thinking by putting Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) BEFORE Sonic Heroes on this thing!?

020

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

Wait, we have Godzilla Minus Zero, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, & Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season 2, which starts with the Godzilla DLC... AND THEY'RE ALL RELEASING ON NOVEMBER 3RD!? Godzilla Day is absolutely packed this year! How am I going to balance it!?

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 11/10/2026

This episode of Ranma 1/2 was incredible! The fight scene was so well animated and so much time was dedicated to it. I’ve loved Ranma for so much of my life and I never could have imagined a fight seen executed as incredibly as this. Ranma and Ryoga went all out! It’s a great time to be a fan!

The only saving grace of the Sonic the Hedgehog x Godzilla crossover is that I can't wait to see @monsterislandb.bsky.social make a video just going at it.

I'll sound greedy, but no announcement at the end of that (and after they had a block of very questionable music for a Sonic event), I am pretty disappointed. From the way SEGA and Sonic influencers were building it up, you'd think there would've been SOMETHING...

I feel I have some sort of reality warping abilities. On my livestreams, a friend and I discussed if (in a crazy pitch), Sanrio came to CrossWorlds and I said it’d be Kitty and Kuromi. BAM! I also said I don’t like SEGA franchises get more than one rep and that I don’t need more Persona. BAM???

010

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

If I’m honest, I’m feeing pretty mixed on Year 2. Some really cool drops here like Sanrio and Final Fantasy, but a Sonic costume and so much Persona both in paid and free tiers? SEGALand being its own paid section? A few lack new racers. Not bad, but maybe I expected too much. Some odd choices.

Jet looks so cool here; like he’s powering up! Considering he’s the only one of Sonic’s rivals who can’t really harm him, maybe this is a boost he needs!

I made a big mistake. I ordered this cute Bugs Bunny plushie for my son as a special Christmas present… but I thought it was going to the same size as Oshiri Tantei… maybe a bit bigger. But he ain’t so little! HE’S HUGE!

Sonic Frontiers seriously has one of the best soundtracks in the whole series. Absolutely beautifully rendered music that almost tells a story all on its own. It's so unique and yet still so Sonic!

Here's #My9Characters, but I focused on some of my favorite Sonic the Hedgehog characters. These are definitely some of my favorites, but I love so many characters from this series. For a Top 9 though, at least at this moment, this feels really good!

I don't usually feel this way, but seeing so many people go to the SEGA Osaka Store, the Sonic Live concerts, Sonic - Club Chaos Event in NYC (where I'm from), as well as idol events across Japan that I just can't attend. I'm happy for everyone, but I REALLY wish I could go too.

Since my son has been crazy for Looney Tunes lately, I got him this jacket for a Christmas present! It’s so cute! I just wish Wile E. Coyote or Road Runner were on it!

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Here’s a comparison I’m sure nobody has ever made. Ever since I first played Sonic Frontiers, I felt like Chaos Island - Movement 7 sounded vaguely like a song from Tweety’s High Flying Adventure. First 30 seconds are Sonic, then 20 for Looney Tunes, then mashing them together!

Dennis デニス @dizzydennis.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

That’s amazing! I love Ai, MiniMoni, and Morning Musume too! (And ℃-ute)! It was a genuine pleasure seeing this post and her! Your birthday spread the joy!
