2 horrendous gameweeks in a row now in #fpl so glad for the international break to take stock. Its only 5 gw's in but starting to feel like the premiums just ain't worth the big bucks, Bruno in particular. 🤔 A special shout out to Pascal Groß ⭐ who is keeping my season somewhat respectable.

GW3 of #fpl done, 52 points & a red arrow it is. Felt like a TC fail with Haaland only getting the one goal but now the dust has settled I will take it as he saved my gameweek from being a total write off. Will see how O'Reilly is but plan to just roll next week.

Any #fpl folk looking to wildcard in the coming weeks should check out the highlights of Chelsea v Brighton. Yalcouyé for Brighton was very impressive for a £4.5 mid in FPL. I get he would have minutes managed but will be popular in wildcard squads I'd imagine at that price.

I will 99% stick to plan in #fpl to get to GW6 and wildcard then if needed once international break is done and we have a good lay of the land...but given how good Ødegaard and Palmer looked and how shit Man Utd were I am VERY tempted to just WC and go for this before price rises go crazy 🤔

If you had a poor GW1 in #fpl do not fret and rip up your team, it's a long road to GW38. Here is a quote from last year's winner Erik Ibsen to emphasis just that. "I didn't start well and was eight millionth in the world after week one, whereas the person who came second was in the top 100."

#fpl take: I think lots of people are underestimating the chaos the international break is going to cause. Wildcards before GW 6 feels super risky. Brazil play twice over in Australia while England play FOUR Nations league games, the last on is on the Tuesday night before GW6. Could be carnage.

So after tinkering away I have 3 options for #fpl. The overall thinking is to have a squad to get me to GW6 as transfer window will be closed, european games will be underway and the 3 week international break will be done so proper info to build a wildcard then. So here are the options...

Feel pretty locked on this for #fpl. Attacking Coventry to keep a clean sheet against Hull makes sense to me (obviously risky) and gets the BB out of the way. In GW 3 I would sell Rushworth and Dogu for Foden and any 4.0 keeper and go from there. Hopefully Coventry get the Rushworth deal done asap.

All Ireland football final today. For anyone in the UK its on BBC2 NI (Sky channel 969) at 3:30pm. Kerry v Mayo is a David v Goliath final, Mayo are the Spurs of GAA when it comes to silverware but with everyone writing them off I have a feeling they might just do it today.

Hard to say for certain but #fpl might have nailed the prices this season in that we are unlikely to see one main template given how hard it will be to own lots of premiums. Just had a play around on fpl.team site and soon realised I'll struggle to own Bruno, Palmer & Haaland for example. 🤔
