Dinner was very good despite my mishap

Recipe for Merguez Lamb Patties with Golden Raisin Couscous.

Serves 4. Active time 10 minutes. Start to finish 30 minutes.

1 1/4 teaspoons fennel seeds
1 1/4 lb ground lamb
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tablespoons harissa
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1 1/4 teaspoons ground coriander
1/4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 1/4 cups chicken broth or water
1/3 cup golden raisins
1 cups couscous
1/2 cup chopped cilantro
Zest of 1 lemon

1) Toast fennel seeds in a small heavy skillet over medium heat until fragrant and a shade darker, about 1 minute. Grind to a fine power in a spice grinder.
2) Mix together lamb, garlic, harissa, spices (including fennel), and 1/2 teaspoon salt thoroughly with your hands (do not overmix.) Form into 4 oval patties (about 3/4 inch thick.)
3) Heat oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium-high heat until it shimmers, then cook patties, turning once, about 9 minutes total for medium-rare.
4) While patties cook, bring broth, raisins, and 1/4 teaspoon salt to a boil in a 2-quart heavy saucepan, then stir in couscous. Let stand off heat, covered, 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork, stir in cilantro, zest, and salt to taste.
5) Serve patties on couscous.

2025 First Round College Football Playoff Game HOSTED IN AUTZEN STADIUM

Date: December 19 or 20, 2025 - Times TBD

Location: Autzen Stadium, Eugene, Oregon

Ticket Prices: $167-$401

Ticket Ordering: All current season ticket holders will be able to secure their current regular season ticket locations and chairback quantities for a hosted CFP game. Season ticket quantities for this game will not be adjusted and will match your current season ticket allotment.

Should season ticket holders decline to reserve their season ticket and parking locations or quantities, they can disregard this early reservation opportunity and secure tickets from our available inventory during the priority pre-sale that begins on December 8, 2025, at 2PM PST. This will also be the time to also add additional tickets above and beyond your regular season ticket quantities and locations.

Ordering Process: Current football season ticket holders will receive information on December 1, 2025 to secure their season locations, with a deadline of December 8, 2025 at 11:00AM PST.

Autzen Stadium gameday parking pass(es) will also be available for you to secure for a hosted CFP game. Parking pass locations may be reassigned to meet the contractual needs of the CFP or ESPN. Autzen gameday shuttle passes will be available for purchase the week of a potential game. Nonaffiliated UO parking lots will sell passes the day of a game. My first ever knitting project, a pumpkin from a round loom kit. Maybe I'll have it by the third one.
