Quite excited to get these collections of short stories from Thriftbooks! Reimagining or deconstruction of fairytales are my bread and butter.

Mirror Mirror on the Wall: Women Writers Explore their Favorite Fairytales Anthology and Tanith Lee's Red As Blood: Tales from the Sisters Grimmer

My updated camper card for fall. Really wish there was a way you could search and find old friends to get updated cards. Miss being able to visit campsites and sell excess resources.

Playing around with Pocket Camp again. Made myself a cute late summer / early fall sunflower farm.

Animal Crossing villagers are enjoying themselves at a little sunflower farm. A red chicken and a bear have a picnic with lots of fruit. A purple frog peeks from behind some sunflowers. A purple eagle checks out the tanuki statue in front of a Japanese style porch. There are morning glory lanterns, fireflies, and a sparkler station.

I love hydrangea season in Pocket Camp. Very 1910's Taisho era vibes with this layout.

Highlight of last week was coming across a turkey vulture chowing down on some carrion and my roommate and I trying to ID it after it took off and landed high on a tree up ahead of us.

A turkey vulture sits perched on top of a large conifer laden with moss and lichen. It has dark brown feathers and there is a faint highlight from its bald head, helping it stand out from the branches.

The turkey vulture is looking at the direction of the camera.

Closer image of the turkey vulture. It's bald red head is more pronounced and thr green leaves of the conifer are more defined.

The turkey vulture stands erect on the branch.

Red-winged blackbird at the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. Very handsome

I love mixing and matching stuff. Strong pink, white, and blue sweetheart valentine's theme for my campsite. Obligatory hot spring in front of the Cafe because why not. #acpc #pocketcamp

Cute little chocolate Cafe in a snowy white forest.

Plum blossom hot spring where villagers can relax.

Quaint little sitting area. Labelle is off sipping some cocoa underneath a beautiful white tree decorated with snowflakes. There are lots of sweet looking things. It makes you quite envious and crave cake.

Really loved Celeste's Chocolate Terrace event. The furniture is so cute. #acpocketcamp

Screenshot of successful completion of gardening event. Celeste is delighted.

Carmen and Kitty sit at a chocolate table bedecked with sweets. There's a chocolate fountain, flowers, trees, and even a chocolate covered stall with Ellie selling chocolates. There are cute little pink and white sprinkles. It's all quite sweet.

I am both highly competent and a girl failure extraordinaire 💫💫💫

Tohru is a well meaning airhead. I love her.

Fauna doing her best and committing food crimes

Some Nyx coded characters. It was semi challenging, but these seem on brand

Marcille Donato. Elf wizard with a penchant for explosives, crimes, and looking cute

Pearl from Steven Universe. Trader Joe mom energy.

Fauna from Sleeping Beauty. Arguably the best one.

Tohru. Determined heroine from Fruits Basket

Happy holidays! Here's my little tree my roommate and I decorated

Little tree decorated with ribbon, red baubles, candy canes, dinosaur key chains, pokemon, tinker bell, a puffin, a cat, Asra from Arcana, and lots of different angels. On the top is a lit up rustic star with a red bow. It's next to a semi-messy bookshelf. A little stuffed dog peeks out of a basket wearing a silly striped hat.

The rustic star with its pinecones, red berries and pine branches splayed in the center. Tied together with a checkered red ribbon.

Close up of some ornaments. Eclectic variety of ornaments such as a felted puffin, some wooden angels,
Pokémon key chains, and so.

Okay, going to try and share some photos of the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City. Semi out of order because the changing colors of the light show were somewhat disorienting
