I have a d850 now and also a xt5. Thinking of selling the d850 to fund a big dumb lens for the xt5, or save up for an older lens for the d850. It’s wheeler wildlife refuge in Decatur, Alabama, they have blinds and everything.

There’s a great wildlife refuge north of me I want to visit. Last time all I had was 200mm, and it was not enough.

I thought I would glue that lens on my z7 but it felt soft and not in a good way. I think this was part of it for sure. Anyway I have a d850 now I’m going backwards

Having a half frame camera means half my rolls are dumb stuff like the Sonic drive thru. Like what am I doing here? I am instituting a "no drive by shooting" rule because I swear to god half my rolls are like this. Probably need a crappy digital camera in the car instead of a crappy film camera, tbh
