Did a little trail condition check at the #Framingham start of the Cochituate Rail Trail. Portions of the trail are completely clear, but some side areas near the fire pits aren't. Leaning towards hiking shoes or boots for tonight's New Year's Eve on the trail, although sneakers would work. #NYE26

I also run a mostly automated #Framingham city-wide events calendar which is easily searchable, at www.framinghamevents.com Below is an example of searching for holiday, Christmas, or fair (using the | character for OR, no spaces around the pipe). I'm sure there will be more entries soon!
A webpage showing Framingham Events listings. The page header explains it uses an automated scraper to import events from the Framingham Public Library and Community Calendar. There's a search hint explaining how to use the | character for OR searches, with examples for music-related events. A search box contains 'holiday|Christmas|fair'. The page shows a table of events with columns for Title, Date, Starting time, and Place. Two visible events are listed: Holiday Marketplace on 2024-12-07 at 10:00 am at Framingham High School, and WinterFest on 2024-12-08 at 11:00 am at First Parish church. The page shows it was last updated November 16, 2024 12:01 pm.
