What an incredible Chapter Class 2-B has finally found it's groove as an action comedy Very excited to see how the story continues, the reversal of roles is so entertaining and I finally am feeling the cast click for me

It's been getting harder and harder to draw with life and lack of motivation getting in the way But I love drawing too much to allow myself to give up. There's just gonna be some gaps of time where I don't draw for a while, and I'm cool with that

I'm reading Takama-Ga-Hara again because for some reason I just can't stay away from this bizarre short lived JUMP manga

I audibly screamed "NOOOOO" at the top of my lungs reading this chapter and my neighbors came downstairs to ask if I was okay Whoops 😅

HAL FORMULA gets my chapter of the week, easily! Terasaka just has this masterful understanding of how to write about people and the way they connect and the conflicts they face! Heartfelt chapters like this always get me!

i can do it! i can do it! sure i can! i can do it, i can! because i'm....i'm....gitaroo man!!

u-1 in his transformation into gitaroo man, the titular character of inis's ps2 and psp rhythm game. he's midstep and leaning back while strumming the gitaroo sphere, giving a determined smile despite his lack of confidence throughout the story. a streak of red effect lines follow the motion of his arm.

VERY strong issue of JUMP this week, I'm surprised at how strong every chapter felt. The Ura Files was very fun, nothing I haven't seen before, but I believe in the duo working on it, excited for chapter 2! Class 2-B had one of it's best chapters yet. Sad goodbye to Drawn to the Fire...

Recently found out I still have many of my old manga related videos on my PC I don't wanna upload em to my current YouTube channel as it's very different from what I currently wanna do and I show my face and all that...But I also want em to be out in the world again...hmmmm....

I hate to bring TOC into discussions on JUMP now because I've seen anything can happen (Under Doctor becoming a hit played a part in that) But I do find it very interesting that Class 2-B Hero Destroyerz seems to be imitating Gintama with it's placements. Gintama ranked quite low until Chapter 17

Monkey Paw effect got my ass I really wanted the new Gintama movie to get picked up in English....but it went to Netflix Well, I'm happy it's coming

Akane-Banashi has worked it's way into my top 20 JUMP manga of all time The anime is also extraordinary I'm very glad it became such a success Hope to see that same success for many more series going forward

Weekly Shonen Jump Issue -#35 Some really soulful chapters this week! Kagurabachi came back with an unexpected gutpunch but it was still pretty sweet! Cannon Master is getting more interesting, and the other newbies are also a lot of fun! Under Doctor is still killing it too with its medical drama!

A very interesting JUMP Sunday I was actually hit with solid chapters from some of the manga I'm not fond of Color me surprised, fun magazine this week

Distracted @distractedartist.bsky.social · 14/06/2026

Hal Formula Chapter one was very sweet and incredibly illustrated! I do feel it suffers a bit from the fast paced writing that modern Shonen JUMP seems common with nowadays, but it has a lot of heart and I can tell it will invoke similar emotions in me as Green Green Greens did A solid start

It once again must be stated how insane my art evolution is I really didn't get better until 2023 This is an old OC of mine I stopped using around 2018 because I felt her design just didn't work I'm still not sold on the color scheme, but I think I improved her look a lot

I am going to stop being as negative on all of my socials going forward I don't intend for my opinions to sound so harsh, but that's how it's perceived I instead want to have more discussions and talk about what I enjoy I am also working on my mental health, so less vent and doom posting

Parashoppers is a fun read! I wasn't aware it had an official translation so I started doing my own for fun. Here's the difference First 2 are my translation, last 2 is the official translation My Japanese isn't too shabby, I also like injecting more flare depending on the character speaking.

I really hope we get more hits on the level of "Someone Hertz" It's nice to see a newbie do so incredibly well I'm not into Ichi the Witch or Kagurabachi but I guess with those we are getting a sort of "Big 3" for a modern JUMP era right now I'm not a fan of "Big 3" sentiment but still...

Under Doctor has to be a plant from Shueisha because how does a series that's consistently ranking in the bottom and doesn't even have it's Volune 1 released get an official Twitter with only 16 Chapters out???? This is so bizarre, is it because the author was Horikoshi's assistant?

My JUMP list in terms of enjoyment currently Maybe a bit harsh but it's my honest opinyot "Garbage" doesn't necessarily reflect quality, but rather series I found zero enjoyment in, so I toss them in my "garbage bin" or my "I'm dropping this manga and cannot continue" list

I have a lot of respect for Ross, but none of these Glitch production shows do anything for me I'm just not a fan of the writing in them The cat lady also does absolutely nothing for me, I don't get the controversy, I think people just find her hot and don't know what to do with those feelings
