My spot art piece for Red's fic Errant Hearts Make Hollow Prayers, from the @distorteddestinies.bsky.social Zine! Go check out the fic below!

Goro Akechi kneels by the confessional wall, his mask resting on the smooth wood above. He places a hand over it while the other grips the wood. He looks pensive, mid speech, his clothes ruined and tattered.

Do I have a fic for @distorteddestinies.bsky.social? Yes. Is it done? ... No The full version of Fail-Safe is roughly 35k words. The ending is pretty much done... The beginning is not 😅 Sooooo until I finish, here is a snippet from my submission that I had to cut out for the zine!

My piece from the @distorteddestinies.bsky.social Zine! Loved getting to draw for the palace AU ive had rattling around for awhile now🤗 #shuake #asheart

A young Akechi clutching to a hand leading offscreen, blood dripping below it. He is crying loudly, while behind him, Joker stands, a hand to his mouth, expression horrified. On either side of him are Loki and Robin Hood, with Akechi's appearance and clothes looking like their persona designs. Loki appears pensive, while Robin is focused, both frowning.

@distorteddestinies.bsky.social i wonder what the inside of Akira's heart looks like… let's find out when the Distorted Destinies Zine releases in September! these pieces are part of an art-writing collab between @kizarose.bsky.social and i—their fic is absolutely delicious, you won't wanna miss it!

a cropped version of my piece for the zine. Persona 5's Joker, or Akira Kurusu, gazes off to the side—half of his face appearing normal and donning half of his mask, the other half bearing stitches over his mouth that curl up into a wide smile along with a brightly glowing yellow eye. the left part of the frame surrounding the drawing is covered in stars in the style of Persona 5, and the right part of the frame is a soft gradient from purple to a pinkish-red. in the top right corner, the social media platforms that the zine is on are listed—twitter, @DD_ShuakePalace, tumblr, @distorted-destinies-zine, and bluesky, @distortetdestinies. the bottom right of the frame contains the words "Distorted Destinies" in a ransom font.

a cropped version of the sticker i made for this zine. it features both Joker and Crow in a more chibi style, foreheads touching as they gaze into one another's eyes. Joker dons his mask and suit, while Crow has a different mask than usual; it resembles Joker's, with the colors inverted, and the eye makeup markings done slightly different. his eye is also the same gray as Joker's. part of their knees make it into the crop.

a card-like shape off-centre with two pictures inside, one of joker with his hand to his face looking shocked, the other of goro looking concerned over something out of frame. The text down the bottom reads, 'distorted destinies'.
