This is a redraw of a character I made a year ago. Her name is Zinnia, she is a corrupted elf that uses her blood to make zinnias and vines grow. #zinnia #flowerart #characterart #elf #flowerelf #flowercharacter #digitalart #characterdesign #illustration #artprocess

Drew an illustration of a picture I took when I visited the Lansu Chinese Garden. Very lovely place, well designed, lots of beautiful plants, and very relaxing. Also, realized too late, had it flipped backwards in the reference window...oops. 🐔💦 #lansuchinesegarden #digitalillustration #dragonfly

Listen, I know he's what you would call chopped in the timelapse. I admit I did my beautiful boy Ginko dirty. Felt something was off with his face the whole time, but I couldn't figure it out until after I stopped the timelapse. 😔 Fixed him after. #mushishi #animefanart #illustration #timelapse

Recently started watching Mushishi again, forgot how good it was, goes right to my top 10! Perfect anime to grab a cup of hot liquid, bundle up in a cocoon on a bed/couch with a window open on a rainy evening. I love Ginko and I love Mushishi! #mushishi #animefanart #illustration #anime #art

When I draw something involving bones, I feel immense fear. Things that require lots of details and parts are the bane of my existence but being able to grow means challenging yourself. l'll always hate bones, even if they're kinda rad. Anyways, snake spine demon.🐍👹 #goreart #spine #demoncharacter

Recreated pistachio cream pie imp from about a year ago.🥧🍴 Working on getting better at backgrounds and props! 🐢 Forgot to keep a flat-color layer, realized 1/3 of the way. Another creature from a dream I had. Wanna dive more into this dream's story one day and recreate it when I've gotten good enough to do so. Undersketch with blue pencil, inking with squeezy brush ink pen, red pen for blood, blue pen for shadows/adding depth. #traditionalart #horrorart #inking #pen

DIStortedBlue @distortedblue.bsky.social · 14/12/2025

Haven't been feeling great about picking up the pencil, my abilities, interacting, or waking up. Been feeling a deep burnout towards art and life. Head always feels heavy and weighed down. Going about my days on autopilot to keep me moving. Being alive and conscious is tiring.

Had a picture of one of the Nio at the Zenkoji Temple in Nagano, Japan. Wanted to do more inking/environment practice. Sucks I messed up a bit, but that's what practice is for. Blue colored pencil for undersketch and squeezy ink brush pen for the inking.🖌️🐔 #traditionalart #inking #drawingpractice

I found this little strawberry with a funny little arm. He was beautiful, he was my son. Alas, a smoothie needed to be made and he was terminally ripe...so I had to say goodbye You were delicious and you will be missed. 🍓🪦🕊 #traditionalart #doodle #comicstrip #tragic #goodbye #penart #sketch
