Last time I was in therapy for burnout, I learned that if it feels like you're burning out again quickly, you haven't actually recovered fully from your last burnout. Hope you find the room to actually breath long enough to recover in the future, this coming from someone also on the edge of burnout

So glad that my held desk techs don't do this. Of course anything vaguely database related still get kicked RIGHT into my lap... DBA, default blame acceptor lol.

Today was a good stream and a nice return to normal. Thank you for being there. Looking forward to getting back to regular streaming. Also make sure you check out all of Reidron's killer art. He's been on a roll lately.

Just found out my Grandmother passed away. Things will be up in the air for a while longer than I originally thought. Thank you for understanding.

If you can't do your work, whatever it is, without AI. You probably shouldn't be doing that work... I say this as someone who sells an AI product lol.

This Friday, watch me and Aru league start with our first ever purpose built paired builds. All I'll say is that it should be the "coolest" league start we've ever had! More info to follow!

I have to say, twitter, full of weird hate and odd nonsense. Blue sky, blue sky seems to have a lot more parasocial personal weirdness. Its like, twitter will hate you for what you are, and blue sky will hate you for not returning their scary one-sided "love." Curious which you guys think is worse?

After months of fighting to keep both my job and support my mum, I've had to make the hardest choice of my life. I can't risk losing my job, so I have to move away. I feel like I've been forced to choose between my family and my livelihood. Could use some support today.

So while my employment goes to shit, my grandmother continues to get worse in the hospital, and everything else gets terrible. I wanted to remind all of you that I not only make a cool product in Cerebrum but I also provide useful database consulting. <-- Please reach out.

I don't want to name anyone or start a pile-on. I know these situations are often more complicated than they appear from the outside. But I wanted to be transparent with my community about why I've seemed stressed and why there may be some uncertainty ahead...

A workplace policy change may make it difficult for me to continue living where I do and providing the support she relies on. I'm currently working through the proper channels, including accommodation processes and union support, and I'm hopeful a solution can still be found...

A bit of a personal update. Over the past few months I've been navigating a difficult situation involving work and my responsibilities as the primary support person for my mother, who is a stage 4 cancer survivor with ongoing health complications.

I don't know anything about a eula speech. Aru read some of the eula to me while we were at a coffee shop. Seemed extreme vs the eulas in used to.

Trinata @distincttrinata.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

It's almost too much to, they have rights to remote into your game, they reserve the right to own anything made in or inspired by the game possibly including fan art, tons of weird arbitration stuff that likely wouldn't hold up in court. The list goes on.

Trinata @distincttrinata.bsky.social · 16/05/2026

Why is the subnautica 2 eula actually just pure evil? Like legit you install the game and you've all but sold your soul to them...

Who's excited for Path of Exile tomorrow. I'm going to be league starting right away with my own version of a dominating blow guardian. I've noticed some others have had the same idea as me but I'm going to be leaning into the new hallowed flame mechanics to see if they are good.
