distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 06/06/2026Can’t wait! Was there for Amyl this week and while it was amazing it did feel kinda empty and I think they sold way more seats than Goose has. Hoping Toronto shows the boys some love. 010 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 03/06/2026Gizz. I’ve tried so many albums, bought a few of them and even went to a show. Left after a few songs. I want to love them but I feel *nothing* when I listen to them 000 0

distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Death in Vegas - Dirt Dubs 10” Lots of dubby goodness behind an absolute all-timer bassline. 000 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Orebolo - Volume 1 When someone posted that he won 400 copies of this in a storage auction, I just assumed it was a scam. After learning about the problematic former Goose member that this project is named after, the seller LOWERED the price by half. Thank you @jorblovesgear.bsky.social 000 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 30/03/2026Checked this out last night. Didn’t know what to expect and absolutely loved it. Felt like a really thoughtful, generous sharing of ideas. Also Lage is 💯 the guy from the “man in courtroom” meme 010 0

distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 27/01/2026Yo La Tengo - Genius + Love = Yo La Tengo I somehow never owned this collection. A great reminder of the fact that Hoboken’s hardest working band kicked (and continues to kick) a lot of ass. 000 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 26/01/2026I don’t get the “uproar”. I thought it was a good performance with some incredible drumming 000 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 23/01/2026Deeper was my 2022 aoty. How does this one compare? Were the early more classical tracks representative of the whole work? 110 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 17/01/2026Goose - Live at Madison Square Gardens 2025.06.28 The three songs featuring the horn section are wonderful. I don’t need horns in the band full time, but when they sit in for special occasions it feels magical. 000 0

distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 06/01/2026Galaxie 500 - Live at CBGBs 1988.12.13 What a joy to have such a great sounding performance documenting this era. I wonder if Kramer captured many other unheard recordings at this quality. 000 0
distantscot.bsky.social @distantscot.bsky.social · 31/12/2025My Morning Jacket - The Waterfall II. Not sure why it has taken me so long to give MMJ a chance. On paper the Will Oldham / Jason Molina leanings of Jim James should have sucked me right in but they were never on my radar. This is a really nice listen. Wasn’t expecting the first side to be so poppy 010 0
