I don't post often but this is just so disappointing to see... A well regarded museum and science learning centre should not be using what appears to be at the very least an AI altered image (potentially fully generated). So deeply disappointing...

Y'all helped make it happen and I've just secured the last bit of funding so it's official!! By October this year I will hopefully be a qualified PHEC medic able to provide first aid above and beyond what is covered in a standard first aid course 💜

Hey good people of the internet, I'm fundraising to get my PHEC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care) certificate so I can more effectively help people at events and protests, if you can donate that's awesome but even just sharing the link will help make it happen! 💜 givealittle.co.nz/cause/help-m...

Honestly there have been times I never thought I'd make it to my 26th birthday so some mixed feelings today, partially proud I made it but also a little disappointed I'm not where I'd like to be.

Watching the international news is so frustrating, watching leaders like Trump and Netanyahu call for "peace with Iran" after THEY BOMBED IRAN... How are there people who believe them?? Who honestly think that bombing a sovereign nation is not an act of war but one of peace??

Just dropping another recommendation to check out @glynnstewart.com as a Science Fiction/Fantasy author who writes awesome books filled with kickass queer characters! My favourite is the Duchy of Terra but all his series are packed with diverse characters and thrilling adventures 💜

The temptation to pick up a cheap TTRPG book but tempered by knowing that you'll then need to collect the set... 😅 Hobbymaster still has copies of Ashes of Valkana by @wilwheaton.net, but I'd also need to find the Fantasy AGE corebook! So conflicted haha

Simeon Brown won't say abortion is healthcare, and refuses to look at how to safeguard women lives and safety during procedures. And, the guy wanted the state to track womens' births, abortions and all medical history. Why is this creep the Health Minister of NZ again? #nzpol #HealthNz #kiwi

#MWSecretSantaAoNZ 🔎 My ideal night consists of Earl Grey tea in a weird/unique mug and... A PC game like Horizon: Zero Dawn or Satisfactory. A book by Glynn Stewart or another SciFi/Fantasy author. Writing for my Numenera (TTRPG) campaign. Making music with strange secondhand instruments.
