i haven't played enough mario games to verify but i think this guy might be the only mario villain with any justified motive at all

i finished rhythm heaven groove’s final remix!!! i enjoyed it a lot but i have one question: what is this supposed to be, miho???
The pixelated protagonist of Hop N Slide from Rhythm Heaven Groove. All that can be said about it is that it’s yellow, pink, and bipedal.

why, SadBoi! "emotionally-draining" feels like a way of implying the word "Sad" without actually saying it. it just makes sense that they'd prioritize collaborating with her, as they got to share the stage with her! so yeah, i'm calling it. SadBoi legendary.

My Singing Monsters presented for the Juno Awards (like the Grammys but specifically for Canadian artists), specifically the Rap Album/EP of the Year award. it stands to reason that while they were there, they'd scout out potential Legendary collaborations. i wonder, who ended up winning this award?

#mysingingmonsters i would like to present my theory on who the headliner for this clubbox act is. i promise this is actually based on evidence!
A promotional image for My Singing Monsters, showcasing the lineup for an upcoming Clubbox act, save for the headliner. The lineup consists of Young Loodvigg, Bona-Petite, and unspecified variants of Wimmzies and Floogull.

The text reads "Thank You! With the help of Community Polls, Autotuna and DJ Epic have selected 4/5 Performers for a future Clubbox Act! ...but who will be cast as the mysterious headliner? Something tells us the search will take a while, and will be quite... emotionally-draining. Have no fear - in the meantime, multiple other Acts are in Act-ive development!"

30/30 [1/4]: while the BeMeebEth was still developing in the Synthesizer, listening intently to the workshoppers' song, it also heard an unfamiliar language, spoken by self-identified "Monster-Handlers". even in its most basic, unimeebular lifestage, the monster just knew it had to learn it.

29/30: for all the goop it leaves about, the Oogiddy actually cleans up well, disposing of the other monsters' litter... right? as it turns out, it actually considers itself an "artiste", using all the junk to build sculptures in its castle room. the bashful Oogiddy doesn't want anyone to know.

28/30: the Rhysmuth has to handcraft and stockpile its cubes, though it wishes its materials were a bit stronger. as the Rhysmuth slams the cubes against the ground, they lose durability, until they shatter and leave yellow shards all over the place! it's a good thing the Workshop has a janitor...

27/30: the Tauter can launch the Teeter hundreds of feet in the air, but it usually doesn't... because the Teeter isn't that good at landing from too high above. the impact will give poor Tauter a big lump on the head. then, like clockwork, the two will bicker for a good few minutes, then make up.

26/30: a Pentumbra's shadow is never content staying in one spot for too long. the only way it can placate its shadow is to take it on a "walk"... which it can do standing still! all the Pentumbra needs to do is shift its bulb around, letting its shadow project onto different walls and surfaces.
Pentumbra, from My Singing Monsters. Its light is on, causing its shadow to come to life.

25/30: nobody's sure how the X'rt controls its two separate halves, not even the X'rt! at times, the X'rt will clumsily drop its lower half, midair, from great heights. this loss of connection will make the legs act by nervous system alone, scampering about until the top half recouples itself to it.

24/30: any Vhenshun could become a Rare Vhenshun if it sets its mind to it! many, though, elect to stay in their Common form, which some say is to lessen the amount of tools the Rares need on hand at all times. others are simply too busy devising cockamamie schemes and blueprints to ever "upgrade".

23/30: when two Piplashes can't decide on something (say, dinner plans), they will painlessly playfight. these extremely sturdy monsters will headbang at each other, clonking their antennae and ossicones together, incidentally producing their own fight music. first one to play a sour note loses!
Piplash, from My Singing Monsters. Ossicones are the bony protuberances on the heads of giraffes. Piplash is a giraffe to me.

22/30: prior to the Islets' formation, the Whaill heard from another monster that there was a secret chord it could sing to please Zarroë enough to let it go elsewhere. it sang as loud as it could trying to find it, and, hallelujah... it nearly broke spacetime. the Whaill stopped trying after that.

21/30: the Nitebear tends to inspire fright in other monsters who haven't been well-acquainted with it. one might spot a Nitebear lurking behind a rock, and assume it's waiting for the right moment to "jumpscare" them... but, it's usually just wallowing around there, wiping the tears off its face.

20/30: if a Flasque's lifeblood were to undergo a change of state (from the temperature), it'd seem unaffected... but slowly, it'd get to its head! a frozen Flasque is too "chill" and not all there mentally, and an evaporated Flasque feels "white-hot" rage. but in due time, it'd return to liquid.

19/30: the Auglur innately possesses virtualization powers, but it took some Mech-savviness to get its hands to interact with anything! the Auglur had to learn HTML (Haptic Textural Monstrous Language) to program the ability to feel. a Blarret's chin was the first thing an Auglur ever touched.

18/30: the Blarret can be very chipper and hyperactive, but did you know it has a more refined side? well, it didn't always! just as the Blarret inspired extroversion in the Sox, the close bond these two monsters share on Plasma left the Blarret with an appreciation for the finer things. how sweet!

16/30: monsters like PomPom and Hoola have a clear older/younger sibling dynamic. however, Zarroë never told Yooreek or Gaddzooks which of them is the older one, and no other Monster knows either. in any case, these fraternal monsters relish in the ambiguity, taking turns teasing each other.

15/30: the Fung Pray's inclination towards balance is more than just metaphorical! the Fung Pray is very light, with its dense leaves accounting for most of its weight, so the monster constantly trims off leaves in just the right sports to keep itself from constantly toppling over.

14/30: the Bellowfish population of Crystal Islet avail themselves of loose gems from the geode cave, and power up their suits with them to see what changes. one such mineral they call "Porousite" lets air pass through their head, so they don't need to open their mouths to let their sounds out!

13/30: where the Kazilleon diverges from the real-world chameleon is its approach to color-shifting. since the Kazilleon is very outgoing, it will "reverse-camouflage" itself, completely contrasting with its environment to stand out among the crowd. really, it just wants to make more friends.

12/30: the Dragong can be very light on its feet... but also quite the opposite at times! if it winds up enough by shaking its tail around, its forceful stomps on the ground can trigger light seismic activity! this sends nearby friends flying, though the Dragong is always quick to catch them.

11/30: of all the ethereals (yes, even Rare Arackulele), the Boodoo is the best one at baking, applying its artisanal philosophies to its donuts and cookies and what-have-you. but what does the Boodoo *really* credit to its stellar baking ability? wearing a cute dainty little apron in the process.

10/30: the Arackulele has 4 legs to stand on, 2 arms to play its chordophone... but what about its 2 other, smaller arms? it turns out they're important! whenever the Arackulele's instrument's strings break, it uses those arms as needles to weave a whole new web for it. resourceful!

9/30: the Jellbilly is an inspiration to Cybop fans, but who does the Jellbilly itself look up to? a revered Wynq of legend named "Boskus Bill", who would speed around on its trusty Boskus pal and go on hectic but harmless adventures. many of these stories are myths, but a Jellbilly can dream!

8/30: the Sox used to be rather introverted... until Plasma Islet. there, it met the Blarret, whose chipper and amicable demeanor made it easily approachable, and who encouraged its new friend Sox to come out of its shell. since then, the Sox has been more eager to jam with its fellow monsters.

7/30: the Nebulob's exosuit is more clever in its design than it looks! since the Nebulob's torso and legs are nothing more than oversized eyes, it is able to use the strongly adhesive slime secreted by its eyes to bind the metal plates that comprise its exosuit together.
Nebulob, from My Singing Monsters. Its exo-suit appears lightly segmented.

4/30: the Jeeode can picture all the possibilities of any given situation, but this comes at a downside: making conversation is sorta tough for it. with each sentence a Jeeode speaks, it gets this lingering feeling inside of what the worst-case-scenario reaction to its words would be.
