In the studio with the guys from Block B Films for the final mix of their amazing new BFI-funded short. It was such a joy helping to bring the story to life through sound! #shortfilm #audiopost

My good pal @dissolveaudio.bsky.social was once the bass player with Cork outfit Exit Pursued by A Bear (an unusual enough moniker you’d 🤔) only to discover that later a different band were calling themselves Exit Pursued By Bear You can 👀 from the attached 👇 where my allegiances firmly lie here 🐻

Glad I got to “Feel The Sound” in the Barbican. Sound artists explored field recordings, healing tones, AI, choral landscapes, Bollywood dance moves & loads more. The listener was invited to participate, bringing the tactile quality of sound to life. #sound #soundart #installation #feelthesound

At last! Editing some ambience recordings I made a while back - using the powerhouse that is iZotope RX. I love recording but actually taking the time to clean them up, master them and add metadata is another story. Still, it’s really satisfying to tick this off ✅ #fieldrecording #ambience #sound

Bury The Dogs is on Prime Video! We finished this BFI-funded short a couple of years ago, and after a festival run it’s now available to stream. It's a great story so check it out if you can, included with a prime membership (or trial). www.amazon.co.uk/gp/video/det... #film #postproduction #bfi

Editing dialogue for a short film today, a powerful story about what is quite a live issue at the moment. Also using a new (at least for me) tool - Marc Specter’s Kraken software, only scratching the surface but loving it so far! #dialogue #film #soundediting #audiopost #sounddesign

Next episode of The Read - Robert Louis Stephenson’s Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. One of my favourite episodes to work on yet. Reece Shearsmith’s performance is pitch perfect, and it was a joy to complement it with sound design! 📅 Sunday 2nd Feb, 9pm 📺 BBC Four and iPlayer #audiopost #theread
