hours in Figma (blueprint and line art) and Photoshop (making it look real with the shading and materials, lighting) led to this.

there were gonna be more ambitious ideas as well, but i ended up just using all of the energy i had at the time to make one video teaser, and curate all of the tracks together during the month of it's release. maybe i'll make music videos for inner body movement one day

-but i was going through **HEAVY** anxiety around this timespan, that it affected my physical health to do anything. i couldn't stick to my Just Dance routine, i couldn't sing the way i was singing a year prior due to the anxiety affecting my throat area.

(mirrored to bsky) this album, in hindsight: was basically my sound palette circa 2023-2025. this album took 2 years to make and had several other ideas but all of them later evolved into this project. there were gonna be music videos on this project (cont.)

i think its also worth mentioning that my instinct usually gravitates towards making original drum patterns as its just easier for me to get a groove in my head than vice versa, but you're right about if the looping is seamless and fun, why bother to care yk!

disctr4k @disctr4k.bsky.social · 30/04/2026

you are right, i guess i'm just speaking in an "be original" sense then haha.

drumloops AND melodies included, idk i just want to be more original than use a full on loop that someone else made but thats just how i feel. everyone approaches music differently, but this is a constant pattern i keep seeing AND hearing aswell

110

disctr4k @disctr4k.bsky.social · 29/04/2026

well no, objectively that's true. but when you start stricting yourself with loops, there's less room to work with. unless if you could chop them and re-arrange them, im just more so talking about the ones that put a drumloop in a daw and call it a day. that aint gon get u nowhere

yk its even worse too if they rely on cymatics (which has cheap sounding sounds) and they say "house is easy to make" LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO get some sample cd's (ones from the 2000's especially) and MAKE A FUCKING GROOVE FROM SCRATCH
