About ninety left by the special day trip to Aberdeen, and in all upwards of 280 passengers were booked at Cullen Station. This is greatly in excess of the number in former years.

7 October 1907: HOLIDAY The autumn holiday was observed today, Shops and other places of business were closed, and the town presented a quiet appearance. The weather being fine, an unusually large number of excursionists took advantage of the cheap fares offered by the Railway Company.
