I'm sure my parents stopped reading to me once I could read books on my own, maybe first or second grade. I'm planning on keeping going much longer. My 5th grade teacher made a point every day to read to us from Where The Red Fern Grows and I loved it so much - just to be told a story.

I can remember getting read stories by my parents, and which ones were my favorite, and now getting to read them back to my kids in my own style is one of the joys of my life

When I "go out" I will have 3-4 NA drinks! I try and support, but also it makes it feel more fun to keep pace. At the same time the bartenders will look at you like "why would you want more than one?" It's a weird dynamic
