I think there should be a greater obligation for everyone to set aside their aesthetic biases, step out of their comfort zone and consider if theyre unintentionally selling a limited idea of trans people. this goes for a lot of things really.

the pale visitor is the tangible consequence of the homeowner not accepting change while the coat guy is the homeowners projected fear of doing so at its most extreme conclusion. They both have ambiguous ties to Death who favors the homeowner in some way. Theyre equally significant to me.
