Screenshot of quoted (OP handle redacted):
Screenshot of the deleted post JTP is quoting above, with name/handle redacted (don't harass them please), with a "Joined Jan '24" label underneath.

It reads:
"You can get an AI gf on your desktop if you want."

Below this caption is a mock-up of a Windows desktop, the background an image (implied to be AI-generated) of a young Asian woman in pajamas lying in bed, apparently on her smartphone, implied to be "chatting" with the sad and lonely human using the computer. I *think* the idea is it's like being on a Zoom or Skype call with your girlfriend but the tone almost feels a bit more like you're paying to talk to a camgirl whose job it is to pretend to give a shit.

There are other random details like it apparently being the dead of winter outside contrasting with the warmly lit bedroom as if it were Christmas Eve or some shit but I honestly don't care

Just like you probably shouldn't care much that the apps on the left hand side of the screen include but aren't limited to Discord, PUBG, OBS, Dota 2, World of Warcraft, Honkai Star Rail, and Valorant, except to get a sense of *exactly* who the target demos are for this shit

Google is terrible in many ways now but I begrudgingly respect Google Translate precisely for moments like this
Cropped screenshot of a Google Translate page. On the left hand side Hebrew text from the skeet above, romanized as "gei kakan oyefan yim", is copied and auto-translated into English as "Gay cock at sea" on the right.

Any anti-Zionist speakers of Hebrew are welcome to chime in and say whether Google got this one right and if this is casual homophobia

Meanwhile, Zionists in 1870s America:
"American Progress", a painting by John Gast in 1872, depicting American settlers' westward expansion and encroachment into soon-to-be-rapidly-shrinking American-Indian territory.

A giant white woman in white robes is in the center of the frame - Columbia, a personification of the US (not to be confused with Lady Liberty) - walking from right to left (i.e. from the east coast to the west) on an open field (like in the Great Plains). She is flanked by regular-sized settlers in wagons and a train, supported by homesteaders tilling soil in the foreground, and a lone cowboy in horseback and a second train in the backround. They are collectively driving away Indigenous people in horseback and bison in the background, already confined to the leftmost quarter of the frame.

The skies on the right side of the painting are well-lit and sunny while dark clouds hang over the Indians and buffalo, very unsubtly implying the settlers are spreading the light of western civilization across the continent.

The people giving this ludicrous advice, especially if they took out and/or paid off the loans between 2009 and 2021:
Famous graphic showing a top-down illustration of a plane with red dots clustered around specific areas, with other areas suspiciously absent of such red dots. Used as a quick visual shorthand for survivorship bias (aka attrition bias), a form of sampling bias which overrepresents the characteristics of members of a population which did *not* get culled from the sample.

The red dots correspond to the locations of bullet holes found among a list of surviving planes (surviving being the key word), the famous insight being the realization that any plane shot in a spot *not* represented here can never return safely, and those areas are weak spots which need to be fortified the most.

Seeing that list and this immediately comes to mind
Front cover image for the Weird Al Album, Straight Outta Lynwood - a play on NWA's "Straight Outta Compton", and clearly themed after the flagship "White and Nerdy" single, parodying Chamillionaire's "Ridin'".

It features Al Yankovic standing in the foreground wearing contemporary-ish gangster rapper style clothing, including a black vest with "LYNWOOD" on the front in sports jersey font, with a black dog posing by his foot. Behind him is a comically flat Chevrolet with a California license plate.

In the background, on the left, a dark large wall coated in graffiti with "WEIRD AL YANKOVIC" sprayed over the rest of it in bold white font, the album title in much smaller graffiti font. Al, his dog, and the car are on the street near a sidewalk on the left. Further in the background a few houses and street poles are visible, and the sky is ominously and dramatically cloudy, as if a storm were coming.

Found it: www.marxists.org/archive/marx...
Cropped section of Marx's Address of the Central Committee to the Communist League in 1850.

The text block is as follows:
"...established at the movement’s center of operations. The speedy organization of at least provincial connections between the workers’ clubs is one of the prime requirements for the strengthening and development of the workers’ party; the immediate result of the overthrow of the existing governments will be the election of a national representative body. Here the proletariat must take care: 1) that by sharp practices local authorities and government commissioners do not, under any pretext whatsoever, exclude any section of workers; 2) that workers’ candidates are nominated everywhere in opposition to bourgeois-democratic candidates. As far as possible they should be League members and their election should be pursued by all possible means."

The following sentences highlighted for emphasis:
"Even where there is no prospect of achieving their election the workers must put up their own candidates to preserve their independence, to gauge their own strength and to bring their revolutionary position and party standpoint to public attention. They must not be led astray by the empty phrases of the democrats, who will maintain that the workers’ candidates will split the democratic party and offer the forces of reaction the chance of victory. All such talk means, in the final analysis, that the proletariat is to be swindled. The progress which the proletarian party will make by operating independently in this way is infinitely more important than the disadvantages resulting from the presence of a few reactionaries in the representative body."

Finally, the remainder of the text block continues:
"If the forces of democracy take decisive, terroristic action against the reaction from the very beginning, the reactionary influence in the election will already have been destroyed."

Second row, listed in the same way: "Erika Kirk becomes First Lady"; "Luigi walks"; "MSRP for Switch and/or PS5 breaks into quadruple digits"; "Bolsonaro finally dies"; "Age verification in all of US and/or EU".

3rd row: "NLRB unilaterally dissolved via executive order"; "Gen AI-induced stock market crash"; "FREE SPACE: Congressional Dems fumble an easy W"; "Katrina-level disaster happens in the US; gets promptly forgotten within a week"; "BLM 3.0 triggered by DHS and/ or National Guard fuckup".

4th row: "Forced covid-esque lockdown; US death toll above 500k within the year"; "Youth-led protest in at least 3 southeast Asian countries"; "Trillion-dollar Fed bailout"; "Deltarune Chapter 5 drops before April"; "Democratic rotating villain joins the GOP".

5th row: "Iraq-style ground invasion and occupation of Venezuela"; "Bari Weiss gets glass cliffed"; "Starmer survives snap election"; "Second Arab Spring"; "Blue Arctic between June and August".

In the upper right corner is an additional 2x2 grid of extremely implausible events where any two of the following is an automatic "win":
"POTUS drops at least one nuke"; "USPS wildcat strike"; "US begins to balkanize and/or Civil War 2"; "PRC collapses; Xi resigns in disgrace".

I will only concede that GOP is (maybe) marginally more complicit in that they're the ones slamming the gas pedal more often. Dems often escape scrutiny because their role is to frustrate attempts to reverse what previous GOP admins did, cementing previous regressive change instead of going further
Political graphic with a white background, headed in bold black text:
"The Ratchet Effect: How you are being duped by by [sic] the fake two-party system."

In the center is an illustration of a red sawtoothed gear with a blue ratchet fitting snugly into one of its grooves on the upper left.

A clockwise-facing arrow arcs roughly sixty degrees around the gear from the top, suggesting the wheel can freely turn in this direction. The image is flanked by bold red text to its right:
"REPUBLICANS TURN EVERYTHING TO THE RIGHT"

Another much smaller arcing arrow (maybe ten degrees) is drawn above the tip of the ratchet, suggesting attempts at counterclockwise rotation of the gear will be prevented. To the left of the ratchet, in blue text:
"DEMOCRATS BLOCK MOVEMENT BACK TO THE LEFT"

Anyway read State and Revolution so you can see through the kayfabe: www.marxists.org/archive/leni...
Excerpt from Lenin's State and Revolution, screenshot from the Marxists Internet Archive.

It reads as follows:

In a democratic republic, Engels continues, “wealth exercises its power indirectly, but all the more surely”, first, by means of the “direct corruption of officials” (America); secondly, by means of an “alliance of the government and the Stock Exchange” (France and America).

At present, imperialism and the domination of the banks have “developed” into an exceptional art both these methods of upholding and giving effect to the omnipotence of wealth in democratic republics of all descriptions. Since, for instance, in the very first months of the Russian democratic republic, one might say during the honeymoon of the “socialist” S.R.s and Mensheviks joined in wedlock to the bourgeoisie, in the coalition government. Mr. Palchinsky obstructed every measure intended for curbing the capitalists and their marauding practices, their plundering of the state by means of war contracts; and since later on Mr. Palchinsky, upon resigning from the Cabinet (and being, of course, replaced by another quite similar Palchinsky), was “rewarded” by the capitalists with a lucrative job with a salary of 120,000 rubles per annum — what would you call that? Direct or indirect bribery? An alliance of the government and the syndicates, or “merely” friendly relations? What role do the Chernovs, Tseretelis, Avksentyevs and Skobelevs play? Are they the “direct” or only the indirect allies of the millionaire treasury-looters?Immediately continued from the previous.

It reads:

Another reason why the omnipotence of “wealth” is more certain in a democratic republic is that it does not depend on defects in the political machinery or on the faulty political shell of capitalism. A democratic republic is the best possible political shell for capitalism, and, therefore, once capital has gained possession of this very best shell (through the Palchinskys, Chernovs, Tseretelis and Co.), it establishes its power so securely, so firmly, that no change of persons, institutions or parties in the bourgeois-democratic republic can shake it.

We must also note that Engels is most explicit in calling universal suffrage as well an instrument of bourgeois rule. Universal suffrage, he says, obviously taking account of the long experience of German Social-Democracy, is

“the gauge of the maturity of the working class. It cannot and never will be anything more in the present-day state."

The petty-bourgeois democrats, such as our Socialist-Revolutionaries and Mensheviks, and also their twin brothers, all the social-chauvinists and opportunists of Western Europe, expect just this “more” from universal suffrage. They themselves share, and instil into the minds of the people, the false notion that universal suffrage “in the present-day state” is really capable of revealing the will of the majority of the working people and of securing its realization.

aiimagedetector.org
Screenshot of result from an AI image detector. The "floating bunny" image is shown above two bars representing the complementary probabilities of the image being human- or AI-generated.

The report indicates a 45.54% probability of the image being human-generated, and 54.46% that it's AI. The tool's verdict is it's [roughly] "Equally Likely Created by AI or Human".Screenshot of a description of the AI Image Detector's methodology description.

"How does AI Image Detection Work?

The AI Image Detector analyzes uploaded images to determine if they were created by artificial intelligence or human artists. The tool uses advanced algorithms and machine learning models trained on a vast dataset of AI-generated and human-created images. It examines various visual elements, patterns, and features in the image to assess its origin.

Detection Process:

Image Analysis: The tool scans the uploaded image, breaking it down into numerous components and features.

Pattern Recognition: It identifies specific patterns, textures, and details that are commonly associated with AI-generated or human-created images.

Classification: Based on the analysis, the tool classifies the image as either AI-generated or human-created, assigning a probability percentage to each category.

The result is displayed as a percentage, indicating the likelihood of the image being AI-generated versus human-created, helping users understand the potential origin of the image."

The leaders of these movements, or at least a majority of them, are full of shit though. They will eventually devour the True Believers who think the 14 words are actually about protecting their children's future, or who actually think the Rapture is coming soon www.goodreads.com/quotes/78707...

“Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.”

Edited panels from the graphic novel Watchmen. Panels are laid out such that the first three are equally divided in the top half of the frame, with the final panel taking up the entire bottom half.

1st panel:
A figure in a brown hat and trenchcoat, wandering outside on a wintry night, faces away from the viewer. His face is obscured by shadow. Off screen, a second person is edited to say "so sad that Steve Jobs died of Ligma".

2nd panel:
The first man turns slightly toward the viewer, asking "who's steve jobs?" A muscular cyan arm extends into the panel, indicating the perspective is from that of this second person.

3rd panel:
The "camera" now turns to face the second person who turns out to be Dr. Manhattan, a functionally immortal member of the Watchmen. He's visible from the waist up, shirtless, facing the viewer. Manhattan responds extending his right hand forward: "Ligma Balls".

4th panel:
The background turns an eerie shade of magenta as a fully nude Manhattan, arm extended towards the man in the trenchcoat, apparently blowing him up and killing him as a bright white light emanates from the latter.

An exchange between Homer Simpson and a lifeguard on a beach, in a Scully-era (late '90s to mid '00s) episode where the Simpson family visits Brazil. Screenshots arranged here in a vertical three-panel form, as if it were a comic strip.

First panel:
Shot of a lifeguard perched atop his chair (left), pointing at Homer and Bart (right), gets the latter party's attention: "Excuse me, Americans!" Skyscrapers and people in swimwear can be seen in the background, facing in-land.

Second panel:
A reverse shot from a high angle, "looking" down at Homer and Bart as they face the lifeguard. Homer's at three-quarters so the pattern on his shirt isn't completely visible yet. Homer asks, "How did you know?"

Third panel:
A zoom-in on the front side of Homer's T-shirt, the image now fully visible. It depicts the head and arms of an angry Uncle Sam, mouth agape, clutching a miniaturized Earth with both hands with a huge bite leaving a hole where the Arctic Circle used to be.
The shirt is captioned, "TRY AND STOP US", the font forming a smile-shaped "line" curving around the bottom of the globe and Uncle Sam's arms. In the actual episode ominous music plays during this shot.

Screenshot from Deltarune light world segment. Kris (the player character) is standing in the street, facing Sans (funny comic sans skeleton man in blue hoodie) as he blocks the entrance to a building labeled " 'Sans ", despite there being an "OPEN" sign in the window.

You should've used this one
Ancient (by Internet standards) obviously-edited image of Sesame Street characters posing together on the outdoorsy set, with a foreign-language version of the Sesame Street sign visible (SESAMSTRAAT), either originating from or popularized by the Bert Is Evil website which (in?)famously posted joke images of Bert either brandishing weapons or posing in photos alongside famously evil political figures like Hitler and...Osama Bin Laden (it was just after 9/11 when the site took off).

From left: Cookie Monster, Ernie, Bert, Grover in the back, with Elmo front and center.

All five have obviously fake angry-eyebrows crudely added to their faces in MS Paint, each holding either a weapon or a drug: Cookie Monster holding a large gun by its barrel, pointed up (I do not know my guns but wouldn't be surprised if it were an AK-47 given the "evil" theming); Ernie holding out a pocket knife, blade pointed upward; Elmo wielding a smaller pistol-sized gun, pointed downward; Bert holding a bottle of beer; and a cigarette hanging out of the side of Grover's mouth.

Guess.
Screenshot of a shitpost animation fearuring Asgore from Deltarune (large anthro goat man and soon-to-be disgraced ex-cop and divorce dad) with a mischievous smirk, plotting to hit his close friend's eldest daughter with his car.

Agree with the sentiment that we shouldn't accept this. But I can't help but ask if you were sleeping under a rock throughout the summer of 2020. Or in history class when you were taught about MLK and the Civil Rights movement. Image relevant

Some Serious Gourmet Shit
Screenshot of a scene from Pulp Fiction (the 1990s Quentin Tarantino film), with the hitmen Vincent (left, played by John Travolta) and Jules (right, played by Samuel Jackson).

Both are holding mugs, standing in the apartment of the sorry bastard they're shaking down and interrogating. This is just after Jules samples (and savors) said sorry bastard's Big Kahuna Burger as a power move

This whole gangster-rapper cartoon aesthetic still makes me chuckle to this day
A low-resolution image of an unofficial illustration of Daffy Duck dressed up as a gangster rapper circa 1995-2005, complete with a "grill", baseball cap tipped sideways, a silver chain necklace, ring, etc.

Daffy is also clearly high as fuck, holding a lighter in one hand and a blunt in the other, eyes barely open with pink-tinted sclerae. The background behind him features a pattern of cannabis leaves just in case any dumbasses thought he's smoking tobacco.

This version of the image is captioned with top text in all caps, "NEVER BELIEVED IN MAGIC", followed by the bottom text "UNTIL I SAW MY DOG [dog emoji] TURN INTO A SNAKE [snake emoji]".

For any sight-impaired zoomers or alphas this sort of bootleg "gangster" Looney Tune illustration was extremely ubiquitous on T shirts in the 1990s to early 2000s. And it was as ridiculous (complimentary, not pejorative) then as it is now.
