I noticed a big difference in subtitle use on my auto-captioned videos (left) vs. ones with written captions (right). I guess the auto-generated captions really aren't cutting it for a lot of people.

I hate this one so much, because the original use of it was perfect. It recontextualized a very straightforward question as something more complex than it initially seemed. But none of the imitators have gotten this right. It's always just "Oh god, please click! I'm begging you!"

I've been going over Majora's Mask's dialogue, and I think it's interesting how NPCs treat Deku Link in particular differently. It's probably done to ease players in during the first cycle, but the result is that they choose not to trauma-dump on a child. It helps them feel more real.

When talking to Anju at the laundry pool as Deku Link, she'll make small talk about the weather.

"Hello, Mr. Scrub. How about this rain?"

When talking to Anju at the laundry pool in any other form, she'll weep openly, voicing her sorrows.

"There are only two days until the carnival... Should I wait? Kafei..."

After looking through the telescope as Deku Link, the astronomer will ask if he saw Skull Kid.

"Well, did you find that troublemaker?"

After looking through the telescope as an adult, Shikashi will instead ask you about the moon.

"Well... could you see it? It already may be impossible to stop its descent..."

Played some Splatoon Raiders with friends, and I really appreciate how the game balances multiplayer. I'm way higher level than them, so on my end alone, the Salmonids changed their attack and defense to match.

The difficulty level of a Splatoon Raiders stage getting raised from 19 to 39 to match my level.

I don't know why this happened or how long it's gonna stay this way, but I've seemingly lost access to Google's AI on all devices. The summaries stopped showing up, and the AI Mode tab is completely gone. And it's so nice! The search feels so clean again!
