🎉 Happy Birthday, Justin Dart Jr., the "Father of the ADA." He crossed the country gathering stories from disabled Americans that helped shape the Americans with Disabilities Act — then stood beside President Bush as he signed it into law in 1990. His legacy: keep showing up. Advocacy works!

Good news! Parker's Place Village, a new low-barrier shelter in Grants Pass, opened this month. It was funded by a settlement from DRO's lawsuit with Disability Law Center, which required the city to provide reasonable accommodations for homeless residents with disabilities per Oregon law.
