I decided to change her name after ~8 years, she will be known as Farwah now, I was pretty attached to the name Blake but a European name doesn't fit into the story anymore. It feels better having her name match her location and culture #sphinx #originalcharacter

Farwah the sphinx, fullbody except the tail

I have been busy with school and not drawing much but ive been working on a few things. This is younger Blake, more new to earth. also thinking about changing her name to something more geographically/historically accurate (her story is supposed to take place in bronze age palestine) #sphinx #art

Finished art of Blake so far, second image has her tail There will be a version without the shading for reference, but her color palette is pretty much up to interpretation anyways. She has a new tail design More details in alt text #sphinx #feline #monster #digitalart #creature

Drawing: Blake, a sphinx-like creature with a dark blue-gray coat, an unkempt black mane, long ears and green eyes standing against a gray background. Her tail is cropped out

I think I'm at the skill level of drawing her that I can finally portray Blake and her species in the way I've imagined. Lyr anatomy is just so strange lol cause I'm trying to force a feline body to have human and avian features, their front feet are human hands bent at an unnatural angle to walk, their neck is more like a heron neck than a mammal. Blake would realistically stand about 4-4.5feet at the shoulder in this form, meaning her head could be raised well above a normal human height. In this drawing I was really trying to sell that she is BIG even without a human present for scale (one will be added in the full)

Same drawing as before but the full version with Blake's tail. Her tail is longer than the length of her body and is covered in the same hair as her mane with feathers at the midsection and a fan of feathers at the end for flight. The feathers are in a perpetually tattered/unkempt state much like her hair.

Another thing ive been working on, art trade for Crabsbeverage Getting to learn to draw background compositions #digitalart #anthro #furry #canine #cabbit

Drawing: The character Trehhav (owned by crabsbeverage) and Mit (owned my me), Trehhav is an anthro canine with one horn, a long tail, and short curly hair on his head. He is holding a crystal/rock in each hand. Mit is facing away from the camera and her body is more obscured, shes a rabbitlike anthro with long curly hair. Also holding one rock in the closed hand. They're sharing their rock/crystal collections.

Background is a loose sketch but theres a wire fence, with palm tree leaves in the foreground covering Mit's body more than Trehhav

sapient horse demonstrates holding an adaptive pen in the lips or with the "hooves"- upper lip is split like a llama's and has fine motor ability. the split hooves situation makes them slower than a typical horse however #mlp #pony #unicorn #zebra

trad. art sketch of my OC Sterling, a zebra unicorn hybrid, demonstrating holding an adaptive pen in her upper and lower lips

sketches of pony's hoof-paw things. on each foot they have 3 larger toes they use to walk on and 2 smaller ones that aid in fine motor control like smaller thumbs. bottom sketch demonstrating holding a similar pen to image 1, between the thumb-toe and "index" toe

Colored version of my new pony oc ref. details in the alt text because of character limit #pony #mlp #zebra #unicorn

image: drawing of my MLP Oc Sterling Spinel, a zebra-unicorn hybrid with a dark brown base and darker stripes, a white belly and tail, one white foreleg, and blue eyes.

i have not fully settled on a name but one im liking is Sterling Spinel, Sterling referring to her mixed breed (unicorn and zebra) and Spinel being a "false diamond", a unicorn unable to fully utilize her magic. Shes a blank flank but her talent/occupation probably has something to do with stones or jewelry
