C2E2 is next weekend so WIP dump time: -Disassembled the green dress to add a layer of black voile on top, and added some pockets -Gave the black dress french seams and then finished the edges -Finished and attached the sheer black part of the green dress

I keep forgetting to update this thread 🤦‍♀️but earlier this week I finally faced my fear and dyed the fabric for the underdress 😱 I also got all the pieces flat lined so I can sewing together most of it (minus sleeves since they need to be beaded still) tonight

Handful more dye tests for the dress. I think bottom right is closest to what I'm aiming for, so that it's a little greener than the original cream color but not so dark that the metallic gold feels jarring
