For #FossilFriday, an ichnological 2-for-1 on a bedding-plane surface of the mid-Cretaceous (~100 mya) Dakota Formation sandstone at @dinoridge.bsky.social west of Denver, CO, with tops of many U-shaped burrows (probably Diplocraterion) & 2 three-toed dinosaur tracks (arrows). 🧪🪨🦖🦕🐾

Light-gray sedimentary rock (sandstone) surface with many linear indentations, which are the tops of U-shaped burrows; a small rectangular sign labeled "Ornithopod trail" with an arrow pointing to the right of the sign, where a three-toed dinosaur track is located. To the upper right of that track is another three-toed track, but it is smaller. A field scale the size of a credit card from the Paleontological Society is toward the bottom middle of the photo.
