Returning to my roots bit of me backstory: I used to draw on paper a LOT before i got my drawing tablet. Just sooo so much. When i did get my tablet (birthday gift from my dad when i was...12?) i didnt even know that digital art was even a thing. I still use the same tablet today :)

i really want to push myself to try to experiment more with artstyle. Im really bad at breaking art "habits" I dont know exactly how to get that to happen I tried, i dont think i went far enough this time i dont really care if the result is "good" i just want it to be *different* from my usual stuff

Random ass dragon, awful creature, and the wonderful beast I do not draw either of the two often enough anymore...sigh... Astrea has always been a pretty underdeveloped and frankly uninteresting character, but im too tied up in nostalgia to actually change them meaningfully.

new marshal ref, right in time for artfight For some reason, even though i have refs even older than marshals prior one (Aeklys, Dino, and a few others), his old ref bothered me WAY more than those. Something about the art quality in it just pissed me off in a particular way.

a couple weeks ago i suddenly had the itch to play with acrylic paint. my mom bought some for me about a year ago, but i never got around to using it much. I do love trying out different art mediums, but its rare that i actually pull myself together enough to do it. also progress pictures :)
