One of my favorite underrated Tim Curry roles is Skullmaster from Mighty Max! What a frightfully menacing antagonist for a 90’s animated series, I loved it! And forever bummed that Mighty Max never made it to DVD… But yea…. Too many legends lost this week… #mightymax

One of my favorite Sega Genesis games, Shadow Dancer: The Secret of Shinobi! Gameplay is more faithful to the arcade Shinobi games, which I do enjoy. Plus, you get a dog to unleash on your foes! The third stage has you scaling the Statue of Liberty for a dramatic battle at the top!

Pulseman! Did I really not post anything since the last one? Sheesh… Anyhoo, revisiting this one, I wanted it to feel more like boxart from the era (since Pulseman never got a localized NA release) and tried keeping the pose similar to the original (just angled differently). #sega

I posted a version of this a few days ago, but the more I looked at it, the more it bugged me, so I went ahead and fixed it up as best I could. Oh yea, PULSEMAN! A GameFreak game released on the Sega Mega Drive. #segafanart #pulseman

Pepperouchau from Clockwork Knight, a fun series of games for the Sega Saturn! The intro for the 2nd game is a lot of fun to watch and the song is very cute, Salsa de Pepperouchau! #sega #clockworkknight

Been reading Demon Slayer and it reminded me a bit of one of my favorite manga, Claymore! So I did a quick doodle of Clare with a bit of Demon Slayer style.

Aquamentus from The Legend of Zelda: The Animated Series. Honestly, I don’t even remember what it looks like from the series, but this was one of my redesigns from my little project. #zeldaTAS in the style of #windwakere

Been looking at some cool Zelda fanart all day and realized I hadn’t posted the Zelda The Animated Series pieces I did as a lockdown project in 2020. #zeldaTAS in the style of #windwaker

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Streets of Rage, beat-em up legend! The 2nd made a lot of big strides but the first is still awesome! #sega #streetsofrage #bareknuckle

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Outrun, super-scaler arcade legend! I’ve always loved this one, though admittedly, I’ve never been much good at it. The soundtrack is very cool! #sega #outrun

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Space Harrier, arcade super-scaler goodness! I was never good at these, but this was always a stunner in arcades with those exotic alien worlds, and that enchanting theme song! #sega #spaceharrier

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Alien Syndrome, another arcade classic! Admittedly, I never played this in the arcades back in the day, and my first taste of it was on the Game Gear and it’s a lot of fun! #sega #aliensyndrome

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Sword of Vermilion, early and ambitious Genesis RPG! Early RPG that tried out a lot of different things, I always enjoyed it! The soundtrack is especially fantastic! #sega #swordofvermilion

Doodled some old Sega properties. Maybe I’ll actually finish these someday. Shadow Dancer: Secret of Shinobi! More of a sequel to the arcade Shinobi and less to the Super Shinobi games. One of my favs, where you play as a ninja and his dog! #sega #shadowdancer

Alien Syndrome concepts. I often entertain the idea of making a homebrew version of this for the Sega Genesis (not a direct port, akin to Shadow Dancer or ESWAT) since it never made its way there which is such a shame. But alas, an idea that’ll probably just stay in my head. #aliensyndrome #sega

Landscape study, drawn teeny tiny. I wanted to focus on the color and light though the graffiti was kinda fun, but I left out the rest cuz there was a lot. Inspired by those “Japan in real life, Japan in anime” posts.
