Can you lose 10-1 and still be proud? Ask 6th division Vedeggio, who took on Swiss Superleague side Lugano in the Swiss Cup in a local derby. On the pitch their fighting wasn’t enough to prevent a large scoreline, yet the Lugano Curva showed their admiration and respect for their valiant effort.

Captain Lucas Da Cunha also made for some atmospheric shots. 💫

Penalties are cruel. Tasos Douvikas and Jean Butez in the Como Cup match between Como and Villarreal.

Maxi Perrone = AURA. Some more shots from the Como Cup. What a gorgeous jersey.

"It's only a goal in a summer friendly..." Last night Mattia Liberali shone for @Como_1907 and set the night ablaze with a wonderful goal to kickstart his new adventure with the Lariani. I was lucky enough to see it happen in front of my eyes (and of my lens)...

That looks great. I have been to eat Sri Lankan recently but it wasn't a good experience. Not because Sri Lankan, I love that kind of cuisine, just bumped into the wrong restaurant.

It was, I was so mesmerised. So cool how a tradition like the Carnival mixed up with those traditional costumes and dances and gave visibility to a migrant community.

Sri Lankan presence at the Saronno Carnival Parade in northern Italy. So good to see how traditions from different parts of the world can merge together.

Pre-sale promotion on "The Derbyless City. An Emotional Map of Berlin Football" still on. Stories from every level and every corner of football in Berlin, from the Champions League to the leisure leagues, from Hertha and Union to ethnic teams, from Bundesliga one-hit wonders to GDR strongholds.

Oese is the DJ. Anyway I really hope to visit Babelsberg soon, it's one of my favourite football places ever!

Damiano Benzoni @dinamobabel.bsky.social · 17/02/2026

Oh, wow! The Babelsberg connection was one of the things I loved the most about the book, knowing Oese got one copy was lovely. I was meant to visit them last week for the Chemie game but in the end had to give up the trip!
