Those EO’s trump rescinded seem to be mostly related to DEI and climate/environ. Let’s be clear: tribal issues are not DEI issues, they are sovereignty issues. This represents trump 2.0’s first strike against tribal sovereignty.

Agent Orange swore up and down before the election that he knew nothing about Project 2025, still no surprise that he intends to pack his cabinet with a bunch of P25 architects. Those who voted for him not really knowing what they were voting for are in for some rude awakenings.

Nuclear is making a comeback with new technology that supposedly makes it safer, as this article shows. Nowhere however is the issue of uranium mining discussed. Uranium mining has a horrible history of contamination of Native lands in the US and is ongoing. How will it be different in the future?

I for one am glad for vaccines, as someone who almost died from adult chicken pox at 44 years old. If there had been a vaccine for that back then I would’ve taken it. The shingles vaccine? Hell yes. I’m vulnerable to shingles because of my adult chicken pox. Let me say it again: hell yes.

I was thinking about the early days of facebook. when i first joined there it was 2009. I was just getting ready to travel to DC for the Obama inauguration. It was still so new, fresh, fun, and hopeful. Then trump happened and it all went to shit. Maybe it already did but I don't remember.
