i forgot I changed luric’s skin from literal black to human skin black and I am very happy I did luric wearing traditional dusk elf clothes (heavily inspired by Bulgarian traditional clothes (because their surname is Velikov) with more Norweigan colouring since Barovia is slavic based)

ah, okay! I’d change luric’s design but I like how they look already (plus I have already made it canon to them that their hair is only white due to age and stress and is naturally black and curly but became white and more wavy-ish with age)

I went with the description my dm gave me and ended up with a dark eyed dark skinned dusk elf with pale hair. never thought to look at the wiki for some reason

heheh yes! I almost chose tragedy because I love the jester vibes but the ominous energy and red colours of mystery suits some of my ocs especially luric and cecelia more! hehe

luric. they are an elf with obsidian skin and long white hair wearing stiffen grey-blue leather armour

Cecelia is a Black elf with medium brown skin and french curls and a lolita style black and white dress. She also has a prosthetic leg and an empty eye socket

and just do a week or month with a list of thistle-related prompts to draw or write from… things like “family” and “devotion” and “blood” and “power” and “games” and “loss”. I’m so excited to see what art and fics people make about thistle when s2 comes out too!

well, you’re definitely one of my favourite thistle artists! your art style is so soft and warm. I saw on tumblr them doing a ‘big bang’ for a ship which is when artists and writers partner up and the artists illustrate the writers’ fics, so maybe a mini one of that. or maybe keep it simpler +

go tell your favorite artists you like their work. you may think they hear it enough or your praise would be identical to someone else's so you say nothing, but i promise you they would love to hear it. and sometimes they need to hear it.

It’d be silly of them to reject a skilled artist like you! especially since you are one of the most well-known and well-liked thistle artists. I considered hosting a zine since I have a lot of free time right now, but it’d be too complicated, so maybe some other thistle event would be better

digitalisdraws @digitalisdraws.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

it makes sense he’d get ruder, since him being raised a jester means he can say whatever he wants and may even be encouraged to be rude when it’s funny... I feel like a little thistle would try his hardest to be polite and please people, but struggle with intense emotions more than the average child

digitalisdraws @digitalisdraws.bsky.social · 11/05/2026

I’ve never been in a zine before. it’d be cool to join a thistle one if there ever is one (if I got in. I think people like audition for them or something)

you are allowed to use visual references without tracing them, i think. it’s only tracing that’s banned. I trace my own photographs for stuff all the time, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it

hehe I was the one that sent this ask! it’s because I was a biter as a kid… but little tiny polite baby thistle makes a lot of sense
