Street Fighter (Steven E. de Souza, 1994) very funny to start this and every other character you're like "oh that's not fucking Dhalsim" and then Dhalsim shows up randomly bald and with a metal ring around his neck and elicits an immediate pog face. very fun with friends, though not very good.

Resident Evil (Zach Cregger, 2026) A lot of fun, clearly made with respect and love for the games. I think there's a good argument to be made that the humor kind of cuts through this one like a knife, but I think it contributes to that overall love of RE. I did get sleepy in the lab, though.

Mega Man X Regenesis (2026) I had fun with this, wouldn't really put it on the same level as the best of the official games but for a game made mostly by like one dude it's pretty solid. It has fun upgrades, and some of the tweaks to series staple mechanics were interesting (tho not always great).

messed around in that blue dragon recomp last night. i played this fairly recently so i probably won't give it a full go any time soon but it's gorgeous and nice to have it without having to turn on a microsoft box.
