iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Just saw this LinkedIn post... "Design systems used to be made for people. Now they need to work for agents too." It's why I created smartwebUI.dev 😎

smartwebui.dev

Because of many issues with local AI still too weak for production, I had to postpone some ideas for AppSyntax product. And reposition the marketing of a product... It's about facing realities and making compromises, to adapt. Stay tuned. 😎

More questions for OpenAI. 1. Why an account is automatically locked? 2. Why you cannot appeal to a locked account? 3. Why humans are removed from the loop? 4. Why a locked account is not automatically refunded? 5. Where are the good designers? 😎

This is the first time that I'm hearing the fans of my Mac Studio M1 Max in 4 years. AI workflows...average 30 minutes training of a model. Btw, I reported a big bug for CoreAI framework.

Maybe I can ask OpenAI new dots to fix my locked account. Issue: you need an active one. Where are humans at OpenAI? Still no answers! - why my account was locked? - why I got zero warnings? - why it’s happening during the Apple review of an app using an API key? Hello AI agents loop.

#design #ux I trained a model for it, and built the full user experience. Stay tuned.

Yeah, I cannot wait to test mine on a Mac Studio M5 Ultra. 😎

I just completed my first app using a local AI model that I trained specifically for it. Stay tuned.

In a completely unsurprising turn of events, Meta's Muse AI is stealing Apple Messages, past and present, and uploading the contents to its cloud, even if explicitly told not to.

There is a report that Apple is receiving 1,000 apps per hour on the App Store. My apps are still accepted and validated in less than 24 hours. I'm wondering... 80% is now generated by AI?

When you build a new kind of innovative app, including a 4GB AI model, the distribution method is becoming a hot topic. 😎

#ai #localai Big milestone. I trained my first model on my own computer.

Stunning. I'm doing a training of a new AI model on a Mac Studio M1 Max with 32 GB. Time needed: 25 minutes. Apple Silicon rocks.

#localai #ai My issue with OpenAI is a good example of a cloud fail. I have no more access to my chat history and data. Any automated system can close your account with a false positive. We are going to be more dependent of AI agents. No humans in the loop. The future is really about local AI.

The historic floods in Bangkok is showcasing a major issue of many cities: not prepared enough to handle major weather events. AI is going to be a great tool in the future to anticipate and prepare.

I shared an API key for the review team. It's really the best method for them to test an app.

000

Patrice Calligaris @digicali.com · 25/09/2026

#openAI #ux #fail If you share an API key with the Apple review team, OpenAI system can flag the usage of the API key. There is something broken in the process. This is the third time that I got this issue. My account got deactivated again. I cannot even ask for a refund. UX fail.

Patrice Calligaris @digicali.com · 25/09/2026

#openAI #design #ux My OpenAI account got deactivated for the third time because of a false positive. When the Apple Review team tests my app, OpenAI's automated systems flag the API and ban me. Honestly, I'm just pissed off. Rigid automation like this does so much damage to developers.
