🫐 @digi.rip · 25/09/2026tbc im not like. looking down on ppl who do prefer and use/dev these all-in-one things. its just for me personally, the trade-offs make no sense and are not worth it 110
🫐 @digi.rip · 25/09/2026id rather just use a separate whiteboard app that does it better. like *theoretically* it would be nice to have it all in one place but now you're spreading ur dev work extremely thin and everything else suffers. i just dont get it and the removal of context switching is not worth a shittier app exp 110
🫐 @digi.rip · 25/09/2026unix philosophy of doing one thing and doing it well can be overkill but a middle ground can be achieved here instead of going insane and shoving every vaguely productivity shaped thing into one application like why are we shoving a excalidraw implementation into a notes app dawg what are we doing 130
🫐 @digi.rip · 25/09/2026sometimes i forget i have very strong opinions on software design and focus like the idea of a "super" productivity app is bad and will never be as good as a collection of apps that hyper focus on their specific area (task management app, calendar app, whiteboard app as their own separate thing) 1110
