The US needs a memory and reconciliation process. By which I mean actual trials going beyond the top level officials to the rank and file. The present moment is largely owed to several distinct historical failures to try and convict people by an executive that always wants to maintain discretion.

I think that's definitely part of it, but especially Gwen and Maggie (and Peter with his big hard virile nose, of course) seem very distinctive to me. I mean, I don't think comic book characters are usually distinct in the same detailed way that someone's portrait tends to be in the first place.

I don't know if I have said this before (I likely have), but one way your art has really improved is you have achieved semi-consistent, recognisable facial structures. There was a time when I could only tell characters apart by their hair colour, but the thing that's distinctive here is her face.
