Lenses are expensive to manufacture and buy, but somehow ominously valueless when not used and sold on… strange

Okay, I get why people like Balatro so much

I would leave myself, but interviewing feels daunting and just freaking shooting out resumes at random isn’t bound to get you anywhere good. Unfortunately I missed the memo about being well connected as an introvert… 😪

Two of the people I worked with for the majority of the last 2 years got let go all of a sudden today. I don’t know how to feel about it but yikes… also I’m the only OG member left now. Everyone else either left or was fired.

Isn’t it funny how it is always the loudest people who are the most sensitive to others being loud?

Made something silly in PhotoCraft. Can confirm, it feels very similar to Photoshop, wasn't duper impressed by FilmCraft yet getartcraft.com/apps/photocr...

Yeah, it has seen a lot of improvements lately. A lot of the annoying stuff are now much easier to get set up in the settings than when I first tried it so it has basically become my main browser now.

Vibe coders telling you how you're not creative person because you don't like using AI. Oh boy, am I tilted. I don't see how asking the machine to do everything for you makes you creative. That's the opposite of creativity imho

Librewolf has a little checkbox that allows you to turn it off too. :)

More than enough other games out there that I would actually enjoy. I haven't touched it since release so maybe it's improved, but when I played it at launch it was an unforgiving, painful slog.

The thing that people who respond to any negative review of Silksong with "git gud" don't understand is that, yeah, maybe I am terrible at the game and I should improve, but if your game frustrates me rather than entertain me... I'm putting it down.

Was lining up this shot of the cellar spider near the ‘braai’ and in the quater of a second it took me to take the last photo it got disintegrated or something 🥲

I'll admit I don't really see the appeal of The Office 🙈

It’s one of the reasons why I stopped playing Boltgun. Annoying enemies that bleed your health from across the room with no oppertunity to dodge and bosses that can snipe you across the map in a nanosecond 100% precisely every time (with no way to regain health)

DieNand @dienand.smellybacon.xyz · 03/10/2026

I think the issue for me is mostly that I like challenging games, but I'm not fond of unreasonable frustration. It's fun to be in the groove, but dying constantly to nanosecond based timing isn't fun and even when you do win... the sense of achievement doesn't last past 5 minutes.

I forgot one, build a base games. Every other game seems to have that now

DieNand @dienand.smellybacon.xyz · 02/10/2026

And a lot of the highly rated games that would be up my alley always have like an overpowered lightning reflexes god boss somewhere in there. Like yeah, you feel a rush of achievement when you beat it, but getting there is miserable and the feeling of achievement fades so fast...
