A photographer with no awards and limited skills. Since I’m a rather quiet person, I hardly stand out and thus go unnoticed. Welcome!

«Geometry of a Lavender Field III» (2024) Photo ©️ Dietmar Bachmann 📍Valensole, Provence, France Unfortunately, #Flashes for #Bluesky cuts off a small part of the photo! 🤷‍♂️ There would be a little more to see at the bottom of this image. Too bad—I have no idea why that is.

A scenic view of lavender fields featuring vibrant purple rows and two trees in the background under a partly cloudy sky. The landscape displays a gentle slope, enhancing the visual appeal of the lavender.

„Children Care“ (2026) Photo ©️ Dietmar Bachmann 📍Zurich, Switzerland It is always a good idea to keep children safe on the street. 😉 #streetphotography #zurich #switzerland

A person is standing on a path, with a prominent yellow outline of a fallen figure painted on the ground nearby. The person's shadow is cast towards the outline, creating a striking visual contrast.

I’d rather circle around them for my little photo series. It remains undocumented whether anyone has ever sat on these chairs today. But I think the chairs don’t really care.

In the middle of the gravel-covered courtyard of the Swiss National Museum stand two chairs with a small table (not visible here). The chairs’ colors are vibrant, and they catch my eye. Everything is glowing—the courtyard, the chairs, me. It’s too hot to rest on these chairs.

"Two Chairs I-III" (2026) Photo ©️ Dietmar Bachmann 📍Zurich, Switzerland It’s only mid-June, and we’re already seeing temperatures of 35°C in Zurich. That’s at least 10° higher than the long-term average for this time of year.

A blue and a yellow metallic chair in the sun with wholes on the surface that gives a interesting shadow to the ground. The chairs stands on gravel.

Comic.

Popcorn. 🍿 #hitze #hitzewelle #wetter #europa #humor #heat #heatwave #weather #europe #humour

A corn character with a worried expression asks a popcorn character at the door if it's hot outside. The popcorn character, looking unimpressed, responds curtly. The setting shows a welcoming home entrance.

🛟 The ‘Flashes’ app cuts off a significant part of the bottom of a photo! Are there any format restrictions here? This photo, for example, clearly shows much more of the bridge. I don’t have this problem on Mastodon. Thanks for any feedback on this.

HILFE!!
