How I arrived on Bluesky: (I was invited)

Floris Didden 🇪🇺🌻 @didden.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Some of the work I'm most proud of are these sketches that were blown up and stuck on the walls of the bathroom in our parent-run daycare. Funny how it's the small things that stick with you

How is No Man's Sky getting more and more gorgeous? They can't keep getting away with this

No Man's Sky: fishing while standing on a hovering spaceship, planet reflected in the sea

No Man's Sky: finished "our journey continues" expedition on beautiful golden planet

No Man's Sky: giant robot construct looming over hill

No Man's Sky: spaceship flying over moon with purple ringed planet filling the sky

Thx! So his whole account is slop. The mannequins were obvious right away, but even pieces that at first glance seemed ok are fake

No matter how thick yuour tires are, nothing protects you 100% from Berlin streets

Agreed. Even before AI, digital workflows mean there's the opportunity to rework every pixel to death. All stakeholder gets a say, sometimes leading to iteration hell. Very different from Ridley Scott hiring Giger and just trusting him to come up with something iconic.

Local baker put out a "distraction", but in practice more an invitation for every wasp in Berlin

This won't mean anything to anyone under the age of like 40, but my Froglok got his first Lord Nagafen (dragon with his head stuck in the door) kill @everquestlegends.bsky.social

How did the shadows look for you? At 75% they were already pretty odd

Ended up in Charleville-Mézières because of a broken car, and it's a lovely town!

Interesting world building detail, in the north of France (effectively the low countries) the classic French buildings in the town center have brick walls instead of the usual sandstone

Was listening to the birds and watching Merlin identify them, when I heard a loud "MOOOOH" from a nearby field and I half expected a cow to pop up in the list

I could smell the smoke this morning all the way in the middle of Auvergne, and you could see haze covering the land. Crazy. My thoughts are with those in Bordeaux

Everquest Legends has been a lot of nostalgic fun. Great combo of faithful to the source and modern quality of life. Most importantly, I get to play a Froglok knight with a little hat and a horse

We've had a little shrew sneaking into the house in the French countryside. He was taking a few too many liberties so we set a trap to move him somewhere else. He moves so fast that I took a slo-mo video:

Do you also have the large carpenter bees? (This is in Auvergne )They're so big and goofy. Normal bumble bee in the same flower for comparison

Ironically, my Rest is History shirt looks like it's not gonna make it more than two years before disintegrating.
