if you love the personalities of the sonic-man heroes, multi helped the writing figure them out she's a big reason the issue turned out as good as it did :D

It's finally time! After almost a year since the project began, we're ready to post the first two pages tomorrow! And in the wake of that momentous news... have a gyaru Laya, I guess. #PutridumSoli #announcement #sticker Art by @dictcola.bsky.social

"Just as the sparks of new life emerge from the flame, so too shall they return..." A commission from the immeasurably excellent @drawloverlala.bsky.social, it was an honor to have her draw Captain Ellanna Lightburn for us! We only hope our story will do her art justice! #Commission #comic #ocart

Ellanna Lightburn standing in front of a field of fire with her blade drawn, looking eerily calm and staring back at the audience ominously.

Some High School AU fanart made by @ianwafflez.bsky.social! No matter the universe, Laya is always eager to emulate her senpai. But this time, instead of knighthood she adopts the gyaru style and the color red! Let's hope Ellanna doesn't send her down the wrong path... #ocart #au #fanart #comic

Hello, everyone! As the last piece of preliminary work we needed, we commissioned a talented artist (who wishes to remain anonymous) to design this lovely logo for us! And with work finally ready to begin on the issue proper, it's a good time to refresh everyone's memories!

"Indies will save us" No! YOU WILL SAVE INDIES! Go leave a review for that neat indie game you like, share the trailer for an upcoming game you're anticipating, tell your fave developer they did a good job, go tell people about such and such game that's just come out, you can make a difference!

one of the worst things about the modern gaming industry is "we're making this mega man legends comic and IF IT DOES WELL we might get a legends legacy collection and IF THAT DOES WELL then we MIGHT (emphasis on might) make legends 3." dude. just fucking make legends 3. you were already making it

The script for issue 1 is finally complete! At a whopping 88 pages, this will be a monster of an introduction split into 3 acts. Don't mistake the length for a slow and meandering pace, and be prepared for the ride of your life... but for now, rest easy. #comic #art Art by @dictcola.bsky.social

Of course there’s more to it but I can’t talk all about it. I just want people to know about it. If you commission people and you’re not much of an artist yourself please ask your artist friends if what you’re getting is legit!

030

Dict cola (comms closed) @dictcola.bsky.social · 29/06/2026

Nearly all of them follow the same routine. No legitimate looking sketches, inks are done with no sketch behind them when or if shown off during the process. But most of the time you don’t actually see the process at all, just the finished product. Keep bugging your artist to show you everything!!!!

Keep your eyes open for people who are tracing over ai and selling commissions for them. I’ve been seeing a disturbing amount of them and I’m seeing literally no one talk about it.. a few of my friends have been scammed by them already. Here’s an example by one of my friends who were scammed.
