Anyone that watched the video of Renee Gold's murder should be aware of what's happening. Future generations will study this time and wonder how it could happen. Be someone they can be proud of. The UK frustrates me to no end, but watching America makes me glad for where I am. This is scary.

I think they're both fantastic. Whenever someone suggests another actor for Meryl's part, I scratch my head. I've seen so many actors in that role from YouTube and Meryl is the best to have done it. That *is* the character.

Hard disagree. This WAS the best performance. I find it hard to understand all the pushback when consistent Cate is great in another drama, while Michelle showcases her prowess at comedy, drama and action in a rare outing. The politics rubbish is offensive. This performance merited the win.

I think this panel missed the point. Every other "character" in that sketch was based off a political figure, except Aimee Lou Wood's. What was being parodied was their actions, whereas Aimee was simply made fun of for her looks. There is a difference there. www.youtube.com/watch?v=9zoi...

Leslie Caron is sensational in a rather difficult role. I remember listening to the wonderful Kevin Jacobson in his podcast talk about this performance as "passive" in a negative sense, then watching an interview with Leslie were she uses that exact word to describe the character. It was the point.
