12K IS SOOOOOO GOOD sadly the anime isn't very long, but what's available is SO good. Good news is: if you watch it and crave more, it's an adaptation of a series of light novels, which have been mostly (or fully?) translated by fans!! For your viewing pleasure: the darlingest son & his weird mom 💖

Also never not thinking about these inner thoughts.... I wonder if this is merely yaharu's first impression and thus abandoned as the story progresses, or if it's a secret tool that will surprise/gut/destroy us later lol

010

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 17/12/2024

Collection of chapter 3 first meeting kamifukus bc Jun being so fucking eager while yaharu wants nothing to do with him will never not cmtfu

This page is incredibly fascinating & striking to me. An entire page dedicated to Jun's eyes and the way his pupils shift.... Yaharu is observing him think in real time, catching a gesture most people wouldn't think twice of. But this memory is so striking to yaharu he adds it to his memoir

100

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Collection of yaharu being a creature

020

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

He also highlights this part of their first hangout, which yaharu doesn't mention at all.... A moment that probably had no relevance to yaharu due to his pessimism irt his art, is something that jun deems so important he shows it to us above anything else.....

100

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

On the other hand, jun remembers the conversation at the bar & is able to show us what they talked about....

100

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 12/12/2024

Which ofc must probably influence too, they have such a complicated situation going on & their rl requires a lot of tug & pull from both sides, but yeah most of the manga is explicitly from yaharu's pov, intended as a memoir, and is explicit when there's gaps in his memory.....

Let's show some appreciation for the panel immediately above it actually. He sees the metaphorical hook yet chooses to prostrate himself, giving himself to jun even if he has no idea what Jun's genuine intentions are........ GAHHHHH

010

it's dicho! @dicho.bsky.social · 11/12/2024

(omg hello fellow ureutsu lover) RIGHT LIKE jun is SO smart & calculating but he genuinely seems to have 0 self awareness for so many of the things he does.... The fact these two are portrayals of the same event kills me dead

This one panel is so insanely chilling & erotic I cannot stop thinking about it
