While pressing on to corrupt the last of the God eggs of the golden nothing, it was revealed that Athena, herself, was the final egg. The goddess asked Culvert to kill her, so that Max's plan wouldn't come to fruition. As a devoted paladin, she did it, in a moment of Kairos as the eggs hatched.

Resident Evil was a great film. Been a fan of the games (watching, no playing. I am a baby) And this was a good representation in the feel and gore. The sets, music and humor made it even better. Honestly, will watch again.

Recommended by a friend from work, this was a GREAT read! It was ominous in the same way of Pet Semetary while having the quick pacing of a good mystery to boot. I really enjoyed this for the generational horror and how each twist was carefully crafted to be a little different than expected. 2/2

Despite the title, or because of it, I thought we'd have a lot more bio horror/uncanny valley to the story. We got primarily 'hear me out' the novel, which is still good in its own way. For the frightening notion it had, I really enjoyed it. For the odd sexual tension... it wasn't bad either! 2/2

And with new sketches, I'm excited to share the more official look. (I'm nearly sold on the long hair) The gradient was the happiest accident -and more like a proper dead one- while the normal colours have her saturation becoming more grey. We're about to have her wake up in game. I'm nervous!!!

Bonus* I'm not knocking the book. With the 6 books of buildup I was anticipating something different. We got the War and a lot of payoff and promise for more! There were a lot of characters involved though, and I was hoping to enjoy more of them within the fighting like we had been getting.

Reading the book, I honestly could have done without some of the middle. The war bogged me down and took from what I was hoping to have more of in character driven moments. We still had PLENTY of those, but I admittedly was more invested in the last 100 pages. Similar to ACOTAR... 2/2

This is the third fairy tale piece I've read by Kingfisher and I can say woth certainty that she creates such timeless tales that harken beautifully to the 'originals'. Nettle and Bone was simply a good heros journey to those who don't go out anticipating to be one. 2/2

Fruiting Bodies A collection of short stories ranging from fantastic and macabre to almost trivially mundane. The characters you meet are mostly women and largely queer, which is a refreshing and provides a unique experience. A man's perspective might give more of a King experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2
