Apologies to the Michigan Municipal League Foundation but you really really really don't want to tell people to search for CAPCon. Like, ever, probably, but especially right now.

You babies were SO well behaved this year* that I think I should give you a reward. For those who want to cherish the memories of CAPCon 2026, and for those who couldn't make it, here are some photos from our room setups (and more)! This was the best CAPCon yet - I'm so proud of the team! *mostly

The main nursery - with walkers, cribs, and playmats adorned with stuffies. Also a block corner with playpen!

The preschool - with work tables, cubbies, a circle mat, a story corner, and more!

The main playroom - with trikes, giant rideable rocking animals, trains, pretend play stations, lego, big blocks, and more!

The soft playroom, featuring a giant playpen, soft gym mats, soft blocks, and an alphabet mat area!

A few people said it in person, but I haven't really seen anyone talk about it on social media. My favorite part of CAPCon is unmasking. I, and so many others, can let their guard down and be who they want to be, ask for what they need, and be met with kindness all along. That's the real magic.

Anyone know if there's research literature explaining the overlaps between ABDL and autism? I love us all very much but we are also, you know, extremely full of neurodivergent folks. Including me!

Capcon 2026 was amazing! From opening ceremonies, cheer class, emo prom, and the talent pageant, the list goes on. But the absolute best part, sharing it with close friends and the rest of the ABDL community that was able to attend 🥰💗. All of you have played a part in healing my broken heart ❤️‍🩹😘

First and foremost: an amazing shout out to all the staff at CAPcon who even make any of this possible! You all go above and beyond for us every year, despite all the hurdles thrown your way. And special shoutout to @fawnyabdl.bsky.social, who put up with all our nonsense while working her butt off

I won’t get to give a proper “goodbye” to everyone I made a connecting with and that’s a sad fact of a con like this. 💔 But to everyone I was able to make smile by running little errands or taking the time to be a listening ear just know, YOUR smile in return made MY Capcon extra special ❤️ thankyou

Please don't dress like this in public near/during CAPCon. It's a violation of convention rules. While you might be perfectly fine with your own attire, it can attract attention to others, and to the event more broadly. Being incognito in public helps us keep everyone safe.
