colorado was a state on my short list to move to when wanting to flee where i used to live! and the longer i've lived in the other place i ended up in, the more i'm glad i didn't go there. mostly because of the literal climate though (i faint at high altitudes and, well, that's like all of colorado)

this is still really really cool and congrats to you both for committing to this! may any potential vehicle servicing in your future be a mild and easy fix, and safe travels!

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

are they gonna give it back

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

one of the more rural school districts i worked at had banned the lgbt rainbow flag a few years ago (since overturned) and gotten national coverage for it, which explained a lot about what i saw while there that day!

But I also don't exercise to help with depression reasons, this is just for cardio health and to get me tired enough to sleep better, so might not work for you. Could def let you borrow some apartment-friendly games to try out while I'm recovering from getting hurt exercising too much, haha

010

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

It's hard for me to do exercise by itself, but if I'm doing audiobook or reading I can go on huge walks with no issue. But for high intensity things I can't listen/read at the same time and be aware enough to know what I'm doing, so unironically games like DDR, RingFit, + Just Dance have been great

i freaking love these dude!!!! i haven't seen most of them when they were posted so this was a treat

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

these are so fun!!! loving the variety (i think the top left is my fav!)

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

i have like 5 packs of tofu in my fridge, i should make this (and acquire miso)

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

the tiny little edges of collected pigment that border each layer....that's always my favorite part <3

100

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

with the theme you all have picked out that makes it hard mode, haha

010

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

i basically just call it a book club! cause that is what it is, and there's some out there that also do the "everyone reads their own thing and talks about it at meetings" format, especially more recently

I do know of cons that do blacklist people for complaining (while refusing to refund them after promising to do so privately and publicly, so stealing artists' money, and blocking them on social media) but that con is dead now

020

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

The last con I was at had volunteers going from table to table during slow periods sunday asking questions about what we thought they did right, what could be improved, and how to contact them for any other concerns. I was thinking to myself, wow, it CAN be a better experience after all!

130

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

that why updates need pauses guy is me to myself because when i was doing a work from home job and got sick i thought "heheh...i can still work while sick because i'm just sitting at computer" and how wrong i was. multiple times

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

love when our government destroys our own and everyone else's livelihoods for our own good when the economy was already terrible <3 (and there are so many people here, at least in the part i moved away from, that are vocal about liking it this way!!! wtf man!)

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

this is the first card I finished the art for and which will be on the cover of the box, arthropleura!

041

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

finished the art for 3 of the cards so far, regained my love of paleoart, success 💪

131

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

yes yes yes YES this is my favorite game and way to exercise and i haven't been able to play at home since i moved out and have only lived in apts with people below me. when i have a house an actual machine will be my first purchase

120

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

and it keeps getting pushed and pushed and pushed at people to read read read it!! i want to stop seeing it pushed at me everywhere

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 17/08/2026

i have yet to encounter this but i imagine it's a similar revulsion that creeps in when reading trendy censorship words like unalive in a real actual written work

000

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

uninstalled pokemon go, logged out of social media on my phone, hoping this helps me stop staring at the glowing rectangle some more (wish i could do all messaging but i do need it for work and emergency contact and general immediate communication and coordination)

030

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

this local small publishing company where i am used ai in its manga translation and half the time the character and place names are normal english nouns and half the time it's their untranslated japanese names...it was hard to read and such a betrayal when i found out it was ai-translated all along

000

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

this is like when i called mine to see if i could come in to see if i had appendicitis because of sudden onset of half the symptoms you get with it and they said i can schedule an appt in 4-6 months like...i'd be dead if that's what i had (thankfully wasn't that!)

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

So, I'd like to have crayon style stickers of mecha and digimon at my art booth! But I have no examples of either, just Pokemon so far. If anyone wanted to sponsor some, you can order them above! Stickers do take a month to come in, just a heads up! (Pokemon commission slots are still open, too!)

010

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I forgot about the number of times someone has stood by my booth for >15 minutes while flipping through my 100-page book with an honest to god smirk and telling me what's wrong page by page as if it's a challenge I made for them...while I'm trying to work...only to in the end not buy the book...

230

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I really just want to draw and share my favorite animals again without needing to brace myself every time I see a comment notification or an email with paragraphs of what I did wrong or snarky IRL remarks about needing to discount the price of my coloring book because it's outdated now

120

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Even today I can't look at my first dino coloring book the same way- I found out people were rating it poorly and meticulously behind my back while at the same time praising it to my face. I only found out when I joined the discord server the teardown was taking place and found the conversations

120

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

Hope things have changed since then, was just exhausting to pour my heart into making paleoart as accurately as I could, only to have so many people go out of their way to only tell me what I did wrong and nothing else, drowning out the people that were telling me literally anything else

120

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

These days I'm working on a paleontology themed tarot deck, which is fun and I should be having a good time, but it's been really hard to overcome the anxiety of making art that drove me away from wanting to be a part of the paleoart community for years, no matter how much research I do

130

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 05/08/2026

WTF Out of curiosity what is your favorite summer drink made of? I only know Tim's for plain coffee : o (I had to do the same with some chains here and trying to recreate my favs at home without having pro supplies has been annoying, augh)

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Purple is such a hard color to print well and they nailed it!!!

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

meeeee with my mom commenting on my huge baggy obnoxiously patterned aloha shirts aaahahaa it's not a phase mom, it's comfy and easy to wear!

010

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

I like the mat as small as possible, so for me an 8x10 would be nicer to have

110

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 10/07/2026

I wanna re-order crayon Pokemon stickers and want to have a nice round number so I'm taking a few rapid-fire done in the next couple of hours commissions of any Pokemon you want. You also get a free sticker of it if you're cool sending me your address ko-fi.com/c/d52f4b5992

hell yea dude this looks biblically terrible, that spot lighting is insane

Baffled by the idea that a paragraph is only allowed to be she/her/her/her/her like it's a math equation she+her(x)=¶

Oh by this size I mean in the first pic, not the one I'm replying to, whoops

Dee @diantimony.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

This is what they'd tell us to do when I was in retail fulfillment and we ran out of appropriately sized boxes....the worst I saw on the clock was a box about this size but it had a single tube of mascara and packing plastic only. Wretched
